I am kind of happy that they are holding back with showing any more footage of Anne. It will better any surprises for me. A new 2:17 trailer and all we got that was new was the backflip and .2 seconds longer of a closeup of her on the Batpod. I am happy about this. I think that they are doing an incredible job with really keeping the film secure. Yeah we know a lot, but really if you think about it a lot of the footage has been the same with a few new shots thrown in here and there. Keeping it tight, but still getting everyone really pumped!

I'm closing my eyes everytime there's any new footage/ photos of Anne. I also want to be surprised in the movie. It's hard when new photos keep turning up in this thread, but either I miss out on the fun of discussing Anne as Selina or deliberately ignore anything that is shown.

Of course, that doesn't mean we can't see other pics of Anne:

I'll be a little sad when TDKR is gone from cinemas, as I imagine this thread about Anne will probably fizzle out unless people are still discussing her performance for years. But it's also kind of an "all-things Anne" thread too.

Yeah, this one is definitely a backflip. But Empire said "prison" though so I think that will be her introduction. I think this one happens after she's out of prison.

I am truly impressed with the way they've approached Selina/Catwoman. The arm twist in Blackgate, taking that guy down on the table with the roll, fake fingerprints and stealing the necklace, riding the batpod like a pro, stealing the lambo, fighting guys with Batman - and now this backflip.

It's modern Catwoman, they absolutely nailed it.

Seriously though I'd like to think that everyone has a fair chance going into this and staking their claim for the trophy, rather just one or the other individual in particular before the film has even been released.


My only real reason for highlighting Bane along the way is because I feel it's a bit unfair that all the other threads (i.e. the Batman and Catwoman ones) are full of rich and interesting serious discussion on the characters, whereas the Bane one seems to be a constant 'perma-white' type scenario in regards to his height and weight, as well as an endless cesspool of the well outdated and quite frankly now lame 'Ben' jokes. And any attempt to try and start a serious and interesting discussion about the characters presence in this film is often overlooked and/or passed over in favour of the former. This is pretty much where the discussion we had a while back about 'scene stealing' and 'Oscah's' originated/spurned from.

I wish Nolan paid more attention to what is popular with fans. That way he might realise how popular this interview is, and might've thrown us a bone by giving us a "forward young man" scene in TDKR. Imagine having a similar scene immortalised on film forever. It's practically a classic line now, and yet it's not from a movie.
