What's even funnier is the fact that Batman uses [BLACKOUT]the guns on the bat to kill in the third act... Lol[/BLACKOUT]
I don't think he kills anyone. I remember he did shoot one of the tumblers but it only hit the rear without completetly destroying the vehicle.

Has AnneFan seen the movie yet? There are so many posts going on I haven't had the time to go through pages to find a review of AF's thoughts.

I don't know how many people here would be familiar with the Broadway musical Jekyll and Hyde, but there's a song from it that describes Anne Hathaway's Selina Kyle and her arc in the film perfectly. The song is called 'No One Knows Who I am', and the lyrics are as follows:
Look at me and tell me who I am,
Why I am, what I am.
Call me a fool and it's true I am,
I don't know who I am.

It's such a shame,
I'm such a sham.
No one knows who I am.

Am I the face of the future?
Am I the face of the past?
Am I the one who must finish last?

Look at me and tell me who I am,
Why I am, what I am.
Will I survive?
Who will give a damn,
If no one knows who I am?

Nobody knows,
Not even you,
No one knows who I am ...

In reaction to Bruce ending up using guns anyway in the finale, I don't THINK/HOPE he did either but what was he shooting out of the Bat's cannons that
cause the HEMTT holding the reactor to crash through that railing and kill Talia?
Were they just explosives? Was he just shooting out her tires? Because if not I guess he is a hypocrite hahaha. XD

I'm not gonna kill you. But that doesn't mean I can't shoot your car.

No, Batman flat out murdered the first driver of the car before Talia took control of the wheel. The man is riddled with bullets that Batman shot from the Bat, so Talia pushes the man out of the way and drives the vehicle herself.

I thought this too...

Wow..did not realize that. I guess he took Selina's words to heart?

I was very impressed with Anne during her scene with Daggett... and one of my all time fav Bat-Cat exchanges...

*Batman knocks Catwoman's gun out of her hand*

CATWOMAN: ''You gotta be kidding me!''

BATMAN: ''No Guns!''

CATWOMAN: ''Where's the fun in that?''

Man, I soo loved all the Batman and Catwoman scenes, especially when they're fighting side by side. I loved it when he kicks the gun out of her hand. Their exchange is very Bat & Cat. Anyone else feel a homage to Batman '89 when Cats has no choice but ride the Bat with Batman? The expressions on her face as they're flying through the city reminded me a lot of Vicki Vale's first time riding the Batmobile with Bats beside her...except of course that Vale was a lot more scared and Catwoman a little shaken but still intrigued. :woot: Also in this scene I loved the lines from Bats: [BLACKOUT]"I saved your life." and the moment when he turns back to her and starts to say "Ms. Kyle..." How respectful he is.[/BLACKOUT] ;)

Catwoman shot several people in the movie. I'm not particularly fond of that.

At least her whip wasn't substituted with a gun like all the promotion is making it out to seem. Instead, everytime she uses a gun it's someone else's, an attacker or opponent.

Modern (past 23 yrs) Catwoman hates killing.

She was even upset over Black Mask.

Regardless, i'm not going to hold it against the interpretation.

Yea, that makes it a bit better.

Anne rocked this role, I just wish there was more of her in the movie.

I hope we get a spin-off, maybe a prequel.

I wouldn't normally say that, since I know we couldn't get Nolan, but I would love to see more.

Did Jonah Nolan said anything about leaving the franchise? He and Anne are the two people I give the biggest credit to for making such a wonderful character.

Hathaway knocked it directly out of the park. I was actually really worried about this because, let's face it, female characters have not traditionally been the strength of Nolan's films (Rachel in TDK being a massive improvement over Rachel in Begins, admittedly), but I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out.

Hathaway found a great balance between that faux apathy Catwoman likes to practice, and genuine emotion. The script really served her well, too. Catwoman fired on all cylinders.

She only killed when necessary, just like Blake killed those two guys who drove the cement trucks.

Tbh, Batman is the only one making a big deal out of never killing... yet ironically he kills in pretty much every movie. Wayne killed Dent... out of necessity, but he still killed him. Despite the script constantly hammering us over the head about how he'll never kill:o

When he was on the Bat he was pretty much unleashing deadly force upon his foes... only to hope that it doesn't kill them. :oldrazz:

Batman had to kill at the end of this movie. A nuke was about to take out the entire city if he didn't.

It seems like in all of the Batman movies, he doesn't use guns, unless they're in his vehicles. Because, ya know, it's more accurate to shoot when you're steering a vehicle and aiming a gun at the same time. :woot:

Yeah... he said a couple of times that he definitely will not becoming back to this world or its characters.

Christopher Nolan has said he's finished, but where/when has his brother said this?

Yeah, handguns are bad but guns are okay for Batman if they're a part of his batmobile, batpod, or flying vehicle:oldrazz:

Anne Hathaway Catwoman > Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman.

She really knocked it out of the park with this performance in my opinion.
