She sat down for a meeting with Nolan about the part and she went into it thinking it was Harley Quinn, so she worked out a laugh, a skip. Then Nolan told her it was for Selina Kyle.

So there was no audition where she played Harley.

Kinda odd cuz Rises takes place in August 2016 - spring 2017. The character would be 29 today but a couple years before we see her in TDKR. So she's 31 in the movie.

Even the actors and actresses auditioning for parts thought they could guess where Nolan was headed with TDKR. Gotta give it to Nolan, he kept things very close to his chest with the film regarding story and new characters.
