Hey, there's no need for such language. As far as we know, she's been with exactly TWO men in six years. Dislike her all you want, but don't resort to such disgusting terms.

there ...edited.

even though she told Tommy she loved him then went and had sex with oliver

I take it I don't want to know what 'Ramsey Bolton' actually means?

That makes her stupid, but not that word that you used. Besides, she and Tommy weren't a couple at the time, and he broke up with her, so she can sleep with whomever she wants.

An idea for laurel that's been rolling around in my head for a couple of weeks would have her meet Wildcat (as ted grant, a gym owner). Have her acknowledge she needs help and have her mom recommend a friend who might be willing to help her. (This would later be revealed that Dinah and ted had worked as a secret task force x-lite government team in their younger days). Have Laurel go to Ted's gym which is a plot point taken from the comics and have her have her recovery there all the while being trained by Wildcat as a part of her recovery. This can change her personality, start giving her more fighting skills (as we saw in season 1, she's still pretty skilled already even if she hasn't necessarily practiced much), and bring on a new dc comics character who can have a.r.g.u.s./diggle affiliation.

i didn't mean it in the rude way you are taking it, i apologize... just locker room talk.

I really hope that the CW Young Justice series happens. Manu Bennett's Deathstroke should be the main villain of the series. I also think they should try to adapt the Terra storyline from Teen Titans.

Since Brother Blood is a title that's passed on, a new Brother Blood (possibly more reminiscent of the comics) could be a major villain as well. H.I.V.E. has already been introduced on Arrow. H.I.V.E. members like Gizmo, Jinx, and Mammoth would be easy enough to pull off on a tv budget. There is already a pretty good foundation to build a Teen Titans/Young Justice show off of. Deathstroke, Brother Blood, H.I.V.E., and Roy Harper have all been introduced on Arrow already, and all are major elements of the TT/YJ mythos. Deathstroke already has mentioned his son Joe, who is better known as Jericho, a member of the Teen Titans.

Superboy and Miss Martian are said to be locks for this Young Justice show. Jericho and Roy Harper both already are confirmed to exist and could join the team. Hopefully Robin will be on the team, as it's not the same without him. But I wouldn't be surprised if Roy fills the Robin like role. If Robin isn't on the show, they will be disappointing a LOT of people though. He's at the center of every Teen Titans or Young Justice team.

There seems to be plans to have a tv Flash and a movie Flash, so the rumors about Cyborg and Robin being in Batman vs Superman don't necessarily mean they couldn't show up on Young Justice. I hope that both of them would be on the team. Maybe movie universe Grayson is already Nightwing, and Grayson on Young Justice could be Robin? CW has already tried to get a Dick Grayson series off the ground, so that could possibly be another element in favor of Robin being on Young Justice..

There was also a Raven series being developed at the CW at one point. It'd be great to have Raven on the team, maybe down the road they could even explore a Trigon storyline, with a slightly toned down Trigon.

If it were up to me... my team would be
Robin, Cyborg, Superboy, Miss Martian, Raven, and Roy for the first season.
Add Jericho in season 2, and Roy would leave the team and we'd follow his solo career for a while, and his relationship with Cheshire

The question is if the Justice League exist in this Young Justice universe. I guess since Superboy and Miss Martian are apparently involved with this series, then the JL would logically exist too... So does this mean that Young Justice would be set in a different universe than Arrow? Or maybe it's set a few years after Arrow?

The main thing suggesting that we could be getting a Young Justice/ Teen Titans show is the fact that all of these Teen Titans characters are being set up. It'd be so convenient for them to spin off a Teen Titans series at this point.

Not really. She was sleeping with Oliver, and after he got shipwrecked, she started having on again/off again sex with Tommy (which likely happened quite some time after she first the news). Sounds reasonable enough.

Yeah, Laurel hasn't really done anything off-screen to earn our hatred; and its largely just been a mishandling of how to handle the character in her personal interactions.

And unfortunately, not that many fans will hound Sara and Oliver over their whole betrayal because they immediately got repayed by the karmic justice of shipwrecked-and-forced-to-become-killers. All three characters mishandled their attraction to a person other than their monogamous partner but Laurel's fallout, despite involving the sorrowful death of Tommy, just isn't as cool as Ollie's and more importantly Sara's. Again, she's an independent equal to Ollie (like Black Canary under Gail Simone or Dwayne Mcduffie), while Laurel's still stuck in supporting love interest mode (like Black Canary under Judd Winick.)

I really hope Laurel gets killed of this season and is just replaced with Sara. I groan every time Laurel comes on-screen.

I hate it when male comic book fans complain and whine about the sexual freedom of female characters, critising and insulting, while being okay with characters like Arrow and Batman banging every women on screen, why? Because those men wish they we're Oliver.

Even as a male comic fan, I get tired of Ollie's antics. He's always been the idiot frat boy of superheroes when it comes to relationships; at least, the currently accepted version of him is, and the one that's on Arrow. If I remember correctly, a lot of his more promiscuous and obnoxiously liberal leanings are more recent developments from the last ten years; he was originally a strong civil rights supporter with some liberal opinions, and the closest he got to being portrayed as still a dog after the island in the comics was his completely monogamous but sensual relationship with Black Canary. He should serve as a deconstruction of the archetype, and try and avoid any Daniel-Craig-as-Bond type misogynism. Right now, Ollie's an odd mixture of actual playboy and atoning chivalric gentleman, which makes some of his show relationships come off as forced for the demographics of the show or changing plotlines.

And personally, I always hated it when people tried to write Bruce as an actual playboy, instead of an extremely paranoid and somewhat wise beyond his years warrior projecting that image. I grew up with BTAS's more philanthropic chick-magnet, and he just never struck me as the type of guy who would actually sleep around at all. I always figured he'd be a little frustrated; anyone he got intimate with would see his body's scars, he mostly works at night, and he's too smart to "waste" his energy when not on the job, and I always figured he was much more respectful of women than Ollie. Plus, it makes it funny to think Catwoman flirts with him when it's "been a long time."

Most (if not all) of the women Oliver has slept with since his return were those he formed intimate connections with. I would hardly describe his actions as misogynistic.

EDIT: Even if he did sleep around for the hell of it...so what? There's nothing wrong or immoral about enjoying sex.

I think the point was, its a double standard. When Oliver does it, its no big deal; however, if its laurel people start using terms that shouldn't be used.

Yes, I realize that (and agree). However, I disagreed with godisawesome's characterization of Oliver (this version of him, anyway) as the "idiot frat boy of superheroes".

Yeah, the problem is that comic book fans can accept Oliver and Batman ****ing everyone, but for example Wonder Woman now switching from Steve Trevor to Superman, gets called a ****.

Same thing with Laurel, yet apparently Black Canary can hop from Nyssa to Olly. :b
