Exclusive first reveal: The title of the third episode of #Arrow Season 3 is "Corto Maltese." More cool info coming to the site later on...
Hmm...

Isn't the Corto Maltese referenced in one of the Bond movies?

EDIT* The name of a piece by Vicky Vale in B89.

Nope. First Batman movie.

Ha! my edit was too late. Interesting to see what connection, if any, there is.

I thinking there is a chance of flashback of deadshot....why he become a criminal and all

I wouldn't necessarily think it will have Deadshot in it.

Michael Rowe posted this today.

It's a tropical island in the DCU. I think the first time it was mentioned was Miller's DKR during the nuclear disaster.
The name itself is also an easter egg. A nod to an italian comic book called Corto Maltese about an adventurer/boat-captain. It's very cool. Has a Bond vibe to it.
And yeah, I think as someone else mentioned, the first time it was name-dropped on Arrow it was Deadshots last known stay before going to Starling.

So Tommy is back in flashbacks..

Interesting! Are you bringing back Colin Donnell from the dead?
Kreisberg: [Pauses] No...
Wait, I was kidding. What are you talking about?

Kreisberg: Colin Donnell is coming back in Episode 302. Tommy will be in the flashback story. We'll be telling the story about how Tommy and Oliver just missed each other in Hong Kong. It's a really amazing story and we're so excited to have Colin Donnell back. It's one of the advantages of the storytelling that we do that even when you die in the present day, you can still be alive in the flashbacks. It was something that we had talked about last year and then when we committed to doing the Hong Kong story, we knew we could really make it work.

As for how much The Flash will cross over with flagship series Arrow, Kreisberg told TVGuide.com after the panel that it'll happen often on a small scale, but they are planning for a big event later in the season. "Episodes 8 of both shows, Arrow and Flash, are going to be a two-hour crossover event," Kreisberg says. "[Also], in Episode 4, Felicity [Emily Bett Rickards] is going to come to The Flash."

With Wentworth cast as Captain Cold, theyre going to have 3 prison break alums in this universe. Robert Knepper as Clock King. Peter Stormare as Count Vertigo. Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold.

They need to bring in another Doctor Who actor to bring that number up to speed with Spartacus and now Prison Break.

not surprise by that.......separate might be a good thing in order to avoid the mess that BvS might cause.....I guess we going to see a movie version of GA and The Flash at some point with a new actor

They should get Burn Gorman from Torchwood, Pacific Rim, Game Of Thrones, Turn and The Dark Knight Rises.

Gorman is a good actor but he probably isn't attractive enough for CW :o

He might be.... if you don't see his face.

Matt Smith would take a role on Arrow or Flash if he was asked.

I'm completely cool with the tv and movie universes being separate. I love Amell as Green Arrow and I love Gustin as Flash and it would be cool to see them go toe to toe with Cavil and Affleck but if being a part of the movie universe compromises the creativity of the shows then I do not want.

My only concern is...DC is EVENTUALLY going to have to re-cast these roles for the Justice League movies, and I'm not keen on the idea of two different Flash's and Green Arrows (assuming Green Arrow will be in a Justice League movie).

Having different actors playing the same characters is no different than having different artists draw the characters.

Nah dude, its not exactly the same thing. If there was someone else playing Arrow in a big budget DC movie right now, you don't think that would overshadow the tv show and Stephen Amell? Or if they announce a new actor playing Barry Allen/ The Flash in the Justice League movie, you don't think that would overshadow Grant Gustin's show especially since its just getting started?
