So, do we assume the Flash crossover next week is before this week's Arrow or after this week's Arrow but before the Arrow Finale?

it's after man

Ray did very well but after last night's flash with barry saying "we don't need Wells " all I can think about when barry said that was wait til you have to pay the bill's for star labs to keep the place running that wells left you and Cisco
with fake wells/ reverse flash's evil laughter

seriously I want Ray to head to star labs and run the business side of star labs now that well's is gone

it make sense & he has good chemistry with the cast Especially Cisco we won't have see Cisco deal with the bills of that place or people doubting if he can run the place. it' won't make /stop Cisco from being fun Ray need's to run star labs he fit's the place well and he's suppose to have a history with Ronnie/ fire storm any way as mentor too.

I hope that's addressed

Rla fukushima looks so hot here compared than she did in the wolverine .

Katana was one of the few things I liked in the 3rd season.

I wonder if Ray transferred ownership of his company to Felicity so that he can run Star Labs in Central City.

Considering he wont be living in CC permanently, I doubt it.

that's what I'd like him to do there's nothing there for him i starling besides visiting his dead wife's /fiancee grave . he can come for that but other wise .
especially about the money side with star labs now that well's is out of the picture there & he fit's well is supposed to have history with Ronnie / fire storm as a teacher/ mentor has good relationship with Cisco where their bro's .

And give barry more breathi room his secret spills out too easy there.

Yeah somebody's got to run Star Labs now with Wells being exposed as Reverse-Flash. Ray Palmer is the man to do it as he can't run two companies like Star Labs and Palmer Technologies at once. He would have to delegate one company to Felicity.

I have a question: Do people want Olicity? Is it coming off bad because of the way it is being written, where every other scene is referencing how one loves the others? Or is the idea of these two ending up together just wrong from the jump?

Personally, I've never wanted Olicity because I felt like there was never anything there other than actor chemistry. But even when they had Felicity get jealous over Oliver sleeping with Isabel last season, it was just not something I ever wanted to see despite all the fan fiction that certain fans were creating. Not to mention, I always felt like Oliver's greatest romantic journey should be how he could be right next to Laurel and still be farther away from her than he was on the island, and how those two work their way back together slowly.

Plus, I was disappointed enough when Oliver married Chloe in Smallville, so this just seems like a rehash of that. Oliver never needed to hook up with anyone, but it was nice to see the flirtation with Dinah wherever she was around. But in my opinion, whether it was written better or not, I wouldn't want to see these two end up together at all, and it really disappoints me how they are trying to force this down our throats at this point.

I just noticed something in the extended promo that I haven't seen anyone point out.
There's a brief look at Nyssa and several Assassins bowing down to a man wearing Ra's clothes. However, this man does not have any facial hair and seems to closely resemble Merlyn. My friedn thinks it could be Damien Darhk, but that wouldn't make much sense. But then again, neither does Merlyn taking over, let alone Nyssa obeying him.

Here's the image in question:

I wanted it because I liked them both and saw some fun chemistry, but they have massively ruined it for me this season. Way too much darn tears and angst and stupid stuff.

I was indifferent to Olicity. I didn't mind them having a romance but the way they have handled has been poor.

Felicity used to be a witty, fun and outgoing character. Now Felicity is whiny, sad, borderline obsessed with Oliver and on the verge of tears any time someone mentions his name.

Amell and Rickards have chemistry but their characters have been written to have this grand all conquering love for one another that feels a bit forced and awkward.

I wasn't in favor or against Olicity. What I don't like, and I think most ppl also don't is that when they pair someone with Oliver, they have to create a lot of drama, but the drama always equals to crying scenes with a will they won't they.

The writers say they like Buffy and Angel a lot (the series) but if you look back, there was a lot of drama between Buffy and Angel, Buffy and Faith, Angel and Wesley, Buffy and Spike, Willow and Tara, Cordelia and Xander and a lot more and it didn't resulted in crying every episode...

I really don't care which characters end up paired together. I just don't want any more contrived drama; if there's going to be drama, let it flow naturally. Don't make characters constantly do things that make zero sense just for the sake of giving them a reason to be mad at each other.

Well Cordelia was annoying for a while but no crying for a while......why can't they do non emotional scenes?

I have a question: Do people want Olicity?

No. I accept that Felicity has chemistry with Oliver. BUT, Felicity has chemistry with just about anyone. The actor is so charismatic that, when not forced to deliver ludicrous scripted dialogue, she basically lights up the small screen.

Just because two actors share a degree of chemistry, does not mean that their characters should be forced together. Felicity has just as much chemistry, if not more, with both Barry and Ray.

Also, from a character perspective, while I can fully buy Felicity having a crush on the handsome, heroic, billionaire version of Oliver who is all sad because of his dark past, I don't buy her falling in love with Oliver. Similarly, while I'm sure Oliver can recognise that Felicity is attractive and while I'm also sure that he appreciates having her constant support as his number one "cheerleader" on Team Arrow, I don't buy him being sufficiently emotionally invested and vulnerable to fall in love with Felicity.

The fact that their love affair was developed off-screen during the break between seasons 2 and 3 makes the whole thing laughable. Also, to be blunt, Felicity deserves better. And Oliver needs some real character development as "Oliver Queen" (as opposed to the Arrow) before he can even consider settling down. He doesn't even have a means of income or a home of his own at this stage. He seems to be entirely reliant on Thea for both. He also doesn't have a life outside of being the Arrow. And he's still stupidly torn between wanting to be a vigilante who fights crime with a bow and arrow, but refuses to kill anyone.

I don't think it's possible, because TPTB seem determined to stick with a dour and depressing version of Oliver, but I think it would be pretty great to see Oliver actually enjoy being a (former) billionaire playboy. I'd also like to see him helping Starling City in another way, whether through his old company (now bizarrely owned by Felicity), by running for mayor (since no-one survives long in that role) or being involved in fund-raising (using all of his old billionaire contacts) to help rebuild The Glades.

Maybe once Oliver has a distinct personality and once Felicity sees Oliver for who he truly is instead of her idealised version of him, then they could look at dating. But, presumably Oliver and Laurel are end game, so at this stage I'd almost prefer to see Felicity jump ship to The Flash or Legends of Tomorrow.

I must applaud you.

:applaud:applaud:applaud:applaud

It such a great point that the thing that sells Olicity is their chemistry, but in retrospect, she had great chemistry with Ray and Barry, and if anything, they made better matches for her because they were also quite witty in their own right. Felicity always worked well to balance Oliver, and the show in general from all of its doom and gloom, but it was super clear in Barry's first appearance on Arrow that he had great chemistry with her, and even though they may have been planting seeds of jealousy for Oliver, their potential romance should have stole the show had it not been with their desire to keep Barry hooked on Iris, which is the reverse of what happened with Ray this season where he should've been with Felicity had it not been for their desire to pair her with Oliver.

The Olicity stuff doesn't bug me. I come for the characters I like being badasses, but I understand that I'm not the only demographic that tunes in. I enjoy the show enough to overlook the stuff I don't care for. However, I think people constantly whining about Olicity are a lot more annoying than Felicity whining about Oliver. :oldrazz:

This season hasn't been as good as last season, but Manu Bennett was a Hell of a find. Still love what they've done this year.

This season is a mess, i've never been so pissed about a TV show seriously ... every time there is something a good in an episode, the next one turns to be a total ****. And that's how the 3rd season is going to end ? let me laugh !! this show was my favorite i literally was obssessed it had so so so much more potential ! and don't tell it is a matter of taste cause the entire fandom will tell you this is the worst season ever.

marcguggenheim:
I’m very sorry you feel that way. And while I have no doubt that you’re not alone in your opinion, a quick perusal of my Twitter feed tells me that you’re not correct in your assertion that the entire fandom agrees with you.

Seriously if this Olicity filled season ends with them driving into a sunset you are going to lose a lot of fans from reddit/facebook etc who don't suck up to you on twitter and tumblr.

marcguggenheim:
Without spoiling how the season ends and I can tell you without equivocation that we don’t make story choices based upon who ships or doesn’t ship a particular couple. And we certainly don’t do it based upon who sucks up to us or doesn’t suck up to us.
