Well that is because they can't get it done without Ollie, all of his experience tips the scales. They are operating out of a dingy warehouse and wont be able to get an upgraded place until Felicity designs everything and brings back to the high tech age.

They probably won't but I want to see how they would be without all the drama, but I thought they had plenty of chemistry in their S1 flashbacks so...

They probably can handle the "ordinary crime" just fine without him. But they talk about the "new people" that they've been encountering being different. Better trained, better armed, better organization, more coordination, etc. So I presume that it's Damian Dahrk and his followers who are "too much" for them to handle on their own.

And the show needs to hit her up to write a Black Canary episode.

You see, the problem is that by the time the season opens and we, as viewers, get a look back into this world, the only thing we see is the team struggling and asking for Oliver to help them. The truth is though, in the 5 months off, they've been doing a bang-up job and how successful kept the city safe, and the only reason to ask Oliver is to return is because a new threat has entered and it's too much for them to do alone.

This is why I preferred Smallville's versions of cliffhangers, because the story would pick up immediately after the events of the season prior. The Flash seems like they'll be doing this at first, but naturally there will be some type of time jump later on. But with Arrow, all of the development we want to see with characters like Thea and Laurel and Diggle is going to be shown in the mid-seasons comic that very few people read, or are even aware of.

Wasn't there like a month time jump between two episodes last season so it's not gonna be as long a time? But your point is still valid. Four months is still a long time.

Another look at Lady Cop.

Maybe they should have gotten her to play Amanda Waller instead because she definitely has that rough edge look that the character needs as opposed to the actress currently playing her. However, seeing as how the show can't even use their Waller correctly, I guess it would be a waste.

I just hope that this character isn't reduced to another lover's angle with Oliver.

I think there was a time jump on the Flash after the Midseason finale, but Arrow picked up a few days later. I can't remember where exactly it was, possibly some time during the second break after winter hiatus, but Arrow did jump forward a few weeks I believe, and I think that's when the timeline with Flash got a little screwy because Arrow aired an extra episode while Flash was on break.

And the point is that most of the important character development stuff either happens off screen or during those big breaks in between seasons. Like Olicity was apparently set up in between seasons, but it seemed so weird to see when they opened up the season with it. It just felt like it came out of nowhere.

Now, I know why I thought the trailer was weird. It wasn't really a trailer. It was a sizzle reel...

yeah it is !!!

all his tattons are shining white and then turn to the normal black after felicity kicks his ass !!!

I wonder if Darhk is over 65 years old too like Ra's. They were students, right?

I don't know why TheCW is releasing the dvd 2 weeks before the season starts which also holds off the Netflix release date. Lets give people a decent amount of time to catch up.

There are a lot of people who don't watch reruns, they wait for it to come out on dvd or Netflix, not to mention when CW is skipping episodes it is useless to watch the season on rerun.

A quote from Amell at dragoncon
“ If Caity Lotz can expose her chest for almost an entire season, I can expose my arms. “ - Stephen Amell on his new suit. To which John replied,” At 48, my shirt ain’t coming off. Damn you.”

and

“ They do something in the premiere that they’ve never done before that will leave the future in jeopardy and ripple throughout the rest of the season.”

S3 in a nutshell;

People die for no reason, most come back alive.... Who is Wildcat? Felicity becomes the main character, Ra's isn't as scary as he says, Det. Lance is mad, Oliver can live through anything... Det. Lance is mad again, Roy gets short changed... Cool bike action scene, MERLYN is messing about and Oliver still trusts him for no reason... everyone is a pro archer, Wildcat dies, Oliver wins, and runs away with Felicity.

I've saved the human race from wasting 20ish hours.

There are plenty of sites that would allow you to catch up for free.

Even if waiting for home video is your only option, I think two weeks is enough time to get through every episode.

Oh, God, not again.

So the city has written off Ray Palmer as dead (presumed obviously there's not body so he's note really dead but they think. so ) and we'll have to see felicity reaction to it. when she comes back to town.

yeah she was with the man she wanted . but it would be odd if she had no reaction to it. she made him do two freaking tasks at once when the city was about to a have a massive genocide and save Oliver. they own him alot.

but they don't come back til Laural brings her an Oliver back. she should have at least heard about it on the news in suburbia there. At least.......
