Well.. let us pray that this trip of ours turns into a good one... cause I am bordering on jumping off a cliff thinking I have wings right now.

If this show has taught me anything, it is that falling off a cliff is not enough to kill you or leave any lasting damage. As long as you have willpower and penicillin, that is.

I, personally, think this season is worse than season 3. I think that Darhk is a better and more fun villain than Ra's though. Darhk is arguably a better villain than Slade was IMO.
I think the first half of this season started great. The only thing that dragged it down was the forced in Sara plotline that made Laurel look worse than she did last season. But other than that, it was pretty good and had a good balance of action, drama and humor. Last season, we had Ollie in Corto Maltese, engaged in a gunfight. Not to mention, Sara died in the premiere and it took them 3 months to find her killer and then another 6 months to drag that arc out to to the point where they'd almost forgive and forget everyone behind the death.

I agree.

While this season hasn't been great overall, I don't think it's worse than Season 3. It also isn't anywhere near the level Seasons 1 and especially 2 were at, but last nights episode was probably the best of the season for me.

I'm hoping it keeps going from here and they keep up with the action and less of the Oliver/Felicity crap that dragged down a lot of this season.

Arrow has the series lowest ever for 4x20. 2.08 viewers, and demo of 0.7. Even worse than 4x16 Broken hearts, which was the series previous lowest.

Ratings are taking a dip. Marc Guggenheim was acting smug last week, by retweeting the increase in ratings of arrow twice, to show Laurel fans. He must be looking very stupid now.

If the episodes maintain the quality, pacing, intensity and focus of episode 20, the ratings will go back up IMO. That last episode was a good one IMO. The quality of episodes fluctuating regularly is a problem, as are some of the endings of episodes (even the good ones) which leave a sour taste.

He retweets every positive article about the show. He's been doing it since October of 2012.

I haven't been looking forward to any CW comic show much here lately. Even Marvel's AoS is wearing on me. I think I saw one episode of Legends of Time Traveling C-listers.

I am enjoying Gotham though. It's all about interesting villains and they've done a good job with Penguin,Riddler etc.. They've done a good job constructing this verse and the city of Gotham.

It is quite difficult to say if the majority of the shows fans are unhappy or not if we are judging it by the online fan community, as we do not know what percentage of the shows fan-base we make up. People that are unhappy will usually stand out more, as they are usually more aggressive and persistent, as well as more dramatic. Us online fans who talk about shows and movies a lot on forums and the like, usually have more time on our hands and are more obsessive and nit-picky than fans who do not discuss shows and movies online, or at least that has been my experience. IMO we see issues with things that other people would not, and if they did notice it, I do not think it would bother them or fill them with as much "nerd rage" as it does us. I think it is safe to say, however, that there has never been more unhappy online fans of the show than there is now, as I do not think there was ever as much people complaining online as there is now.

Thats part of the main reason I like lurking the forums so much, all the views and opinions that I didn't see when I watched it, or things that really got too people.

I myself very rarely post a positive post on its own, usually more or less responding to a negative post about the show (or whatever mode of media we are discussing.)

Sometimes people on here change my opinion, about it by making me realize things I've never seen. Other times, people don't take time to understand the other view point, and keep with their original opinion, without understanding what the alternatives are.

Honestly Olicity is making me despise this show, I'm at the point where I just want this ****box show cancelled. It's a real shame because Season 2 was something special. It can still recover, but Felicity has to be killed off.

Olicity might be killing the show... but putting thea in a bubble and this magic ******** has been the final nail in the coffin.

There is simply nothing good about the show anymore.

The last episode was a good one, and there was very little "Olicity" stuff. If the "Olicity" stuff in episode 20 was enough to put people off, then I would say that they are very easily upset.

the last episode was a good one? It's a shame it wasn't THE last episode.

Yes, it was a good one. If the next few episodes keep that type of focus and pacing, with very little drama, then the season will have a strong finish. I have doubts that they will though, as this season has been inconsistent with its quality. There is a good episode one week, then a bad one the next week. Some of the good episodes have had endings that have left a sour taste in people's mouths too, which doesn't help. That was not the case in episode 20 though.

Good for Colton for coming out. Also for distancing himself from this sh**ty show. ;)

It would be one thing if this was a secret town in the middle of nowhere, but a secret town underground of Star City is inexcusable writing.

Thanks guys for giving me a good laugh......nothing funnier than people calling a show they watch religiously as ******. If I don't like a show I stop watching it. I have too many other shows I want to watch to waste my time watching something every week that I think is ******.

I stopped watching a few months ago. It's a bummer to be honest, S2 was a lot of fun, and S1 had some solid stuff. I couldn't find myself interested in it anymore though. The writing got too silly. Flash hasn't been as good this season either, but it stI'll had some really enjoyable parts, and that's why I've stuck with it. I don't think I'll come back to Arrow unless I hear people saying it's significantly improved.
