Im starting to wonder if this is a journey into Olivers psyche

They're merely bring him back so they can kill him off before the character shows up in the new Bat-film...

Thing is you're probably right, given what the show's already done with villains in both universes. Unless I'm mistaken, Katana and Captain Boomerang are still alive in the DCCW, right?

I doubt they will bring him back to kill him off. I reckon his appearance will be similar to last seasons one.

New Arrow trailer

[YT]25eZwRNYsh0[/YT]

I'm not going to lie, it looks like a bit of a throwback, and for that I'm intrigued. Still don't trust Guggenheim though.

It only took 4 seasons for Ollie to actually train a team...

Plus, the wig is back. I was scared they were going to retcon his long hair when he gets picked-up off the island.

THIS LOOKS INCREDIBLE. Season 5 definitely feels like a return to form. Even the action is reminiscent of Season 1-2.

Ok that trailer looks awesome. Really hoping, from the looks of it, that this returns to the form of the first 2 seasons. That's the vibe this trailer gives me. Very excited for next week now. Hoping this is the return to form a lot of us have wanted.

Finally watched the trailer and I was pleasantly surprised. I gave up about halfway through last season, but now I'm willing to give season 5 a chance.

I have to admit that trailer does tempt me to give the show another chance, if they can maintain through the season is what I'm nervous about, I'd love to see this show make a comeback in quality.

The trailer looks great so hopefully it's a return to form. Also, the Superhero Fight Club 2 promo comes out tomorrow.

Oh wow. I thought all the throwback talk was hyperbole, but after watching it, it DOES give me strong Season 1 and 2 vibes. Heck, maybe the showrunners thought a little murder back on the table would spruce things up. But I think I liked the first half more because even though the Green Arrow is a hero, the trailer felt like it played up the vigilante aspect a bit more, which I like.

I thought the trailer was okay but I don't think it's enough to bring me back. I'll keep an eye out on the show out on the show to see what the word is.

I'm still going to pass on this unless I hear good things about it come midseason finale but what's this I'm reading about Deathstroke coming back?

Watch now before midseason, you know the pattern, the show will be worse in the 2nd half

This trailer actually really looks great. My only thing is, will they explain why Oliver is so willing to go back to killing (and rather viciously)? I mean, it might be anger over Laurel's death, but when Thea invoked Laurel he said "the dead don't want anything." Interesting. But in any case, the action looks fantastic and it looks like Ragman might temporarily be a part of New Team Arrow, which makes me think either he takes the fall for the team and goes to jail, or he's killed off rather quickly by the villain (Prometheus or Tobias, one or the other).

Damn, I just watched the trailer and i cannot lie...I.am. Interested. I gave up 3/4's into last season and was pretty sure I was gonna stop watching the show....but this trailer looks like its going back to basics. Dark Oliver is back, the fight choreography looks like its trying to compete with Daredevil, and I really just dug the tone. The flashbacks look like they're going to be engaging and important again. STILL not entirely sold on Ollie training a group of young kids, but maybe the team will sell me.

Alright, Arrow, you've got one more chance to win me over. Make it count.

Honestly, I refuse to watch the show until March G and most of his fellow executive producers are booted from it.

Based on everything that I've read about the guy as of late, he hasn't learned a single thing of why this show's quality has declined in recent seasons.

Sure, the footage may look good but how many times have we seen cases where Arrow looked like it was back to a strong start, only to be cropped on afterwards.

And Felicity/Olicity is just too painful to watch. If those aspects didn't consume the show as much, then I would probably endure it.

I was all excited until I saw thew quick shot of Felicity kissing some guy with the door cracked open slightly. It looks like it happens in the police precinct, and Oliver probably passes by and sees it.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised at all if Felicity's new boyfriend turned out to be the villain for the season.
