You mean, like how her relationship with Ray was better? Or how she had better chemistry with Barry?

I think Ray's relationship sucked, but she did have better chemistry with Barry, so I can't quite tell if you're being sarcastic or not.

CW accidentally revealed Diggles new helmet (which is 100x better then the original) in their new bts CW video.

I'm being completely serious. Her relationship with Ray felt 100x more believable on both ends than it ever has with Oliver.

The constant complaint that I've heard is that Amell and Katie had no chemistry, which is why Olicity works, but the truth is EBR has chemistry with anyone she shares the screen with, and romantically speaking, her and Barry and Ray made more sense. The way she is written with Oliver has completely hurt both characters because it changed them, whereas in other relationships, they've complimented each other.

I watched the fight club 2.0 and....... It was ok.

Arrow Season 5 - Legacy Advance Preview

Arrow returns for season five with “Legacy” in one week. It remains on Wednesday nights at 8/7c on the CW. The episode was directed by stunt wizard James Bamford and was based on a story by Greg Berlanti with Marc Guggenheim and Wendy Mericle writing the teleplay. As anyone who read my reviews last season knows, I had lost both faith and interest in the show by the time we got to “Schism.” Indeed, the schism felt very much like one between me and the show – so much, in fact, that I spent most of the summer expecting my review of “Legacy” to be my last for the show. Much to my surprise and pleasure, “Legacy” has reinvigorated my interest in the show.

TVLine Advance Review
ARROW | Whereas The Flash is light on its feet, Arrow is back with — thankfully — what promises to be one of its more grounded, grittier seasons ever. There has been no convenient reuniting of the team during the off-season; rather, Diggle is back in soldier mode in Chechnya, while Thea is thrilled to have shed her bloodlust once and for all, now working as chief of staff to “Mayor Handsome” (as the papers dub him). Yes, Oliver misses the bull’s-eye as a politician, burning the candle at both ends as he is (and going solo on the nighttime streets at that). Running comms, Felicity is still is his ear (if nowhere close to his bed) and pushing for staff additions in the form of some independent vigilantes she has scouted.

Green Arrow would be wise to sign off on some new sidekicks and quick, seeing as the Quentin Lance-less SCPD has been overrun by dirty cops, while new menaces now loom in the form of gangster Tobias Church (played by The Walking Dead‘s Chad L. Coleman with a gravelly and intimidating Zoom-like voice) and an extremely dark archer.

Perhaps the best news is that the fifth and final round of flashbacks are, one could argue, as compelling as the current-day narrative, as Oliver locks horns with Anatoly Knyazev and the Russian Bratva, looking to make good on his promise to… hmm, I want to say “Taiana”? (You know, the girl from the island.) Stephen Amell spent much of the summer trumpeting a return to OMG stunt sequences and brutal brawling, and he would seem to be spot-on in that exciting assessment.

Will (and why would) Dig and Thea suit up again? How will any new recruits acclimate to Team Arrow? And are any of the season-opening wrinkles the result of The Flash‘s Flashpoint timeline tinkering? Leaving us with those questions and others, the Arrow premiere suggests a solid Season 5.

Review: A-

The fact that they couldn't have gone with something like this from the start (Season 4) still boggles my mind. Like, who in their right mind thought approving his Season 4 helmet would ever be a good idea?lol

Early reviews are looking good. But it is not a surprise, as I expected a strong start. Hopefully this season they can maintain the momentum.

I just noticed Arrow on TNT.

I missed the announcement about a week back but the show now has a syndication deal.

This is really good news for the show to get a syndication deal after only four seasons. It means it has good value and should help keep the show producing new episodes for years to come. Vampire Diaries has been on for like 7+ seasons and still hasn't been sold into syndication.

88 episodes is the new magic syndication number so its no surprise. TNT has Supernatural as well so its a good fit. Teen dramas are harder nowadays to syndicate, only like 2 channels are willing to run them.

As far as I can recall, Arrow is the only show that started on CW that has ever gotten a US cable syndication deal. Smallville and Supernatural started on The WB.

So yeah, it is mildly surprising it happened this early.

Gossip Girl has a syndication deal with Style network, that was the first CW show to get a deal.

Nikita probably would've gotten a syndicated on tv but it never hit 88 episodes.

The closer it gets to the season premiere, the more it sucks knowing that Laurel is not going to be there as a main character anymore :csad:.

It will which is why I wont be watching the show for majority of the season, just when the crossover comes about.

But speaking of Laurel...
Katie Cassidy did sign a deal to be a series regular across all Arrow-verse shows. What ways might we see her appear in Arrow outside of just flashbacks?
Mericle: I can tell you that we're really excited about having her back. You will see in the episodes where she appears - Episode 510 definitely, our midseason premiere. Keep your eyes out for that. We're so excited about getting to work with her again and her willingness to come back. It's one of the fun parts of the show. People can leave and get killed and you can still find new and crazy ways for them to come back. I can definitely tell you that there's a way we're going to bring her back and she's going to be alive and well. And Flashpoint might have a little bit to do with that.

Would you come back if the show kept getting good reviews and word of mouth?

I thought about it and I don't think so. They left a sour taste in my mouth and it is enough that I comment about them at all, let alone give them a viewer.

I understand that. It left a very sour taste in my mouth too. I still like/love a lot of the other characters though, so I will continue to watch.

I enjoy Thea and Diggle and even Felicity when she isn't in Olicity mode but I know it will just lead to a lot of hate watching.

To be honest, ever since BvS, I feel like I've been constantly disappointed by live action comic shows/movies. I still haven't seen things like Deadpool or Civil War, ans even the CW shows have felt underwhelming, and Laurel dying definitely played a huge factor in me not keeping up with everything.

If Laurel really is coming back but won't be a regular, maybe this is paving the way for her to set off on her own to be Black Canary in some other city. Maybe she'll be recurring on Flash and Arrow, like whenever one of them needs help taking down a more difficult baddie, they call on her, or something.

I'm not a huge fan of Civil War (I liked it but it had some weakness) Deadpool however is awesome. If your laughing during the opening credits like I was, it's the movie for you.
