Sadly folks, Earth-2 is no more.
Is this how it worked in the original “Crisis”? Or was there also some magical merging of universes? As we’ve been speculating, one of the pragmatic outcomes of this TV version might be to consolidate Earth-1 and -38. But it seems unlikely that this would be done by having the main Supergirl characters escape (via wormhole) to Earth-1.

All the world's except 5 died. The last five merged.

Hmm, that episode wasn’t so good. Too much retread with no consequence held by Oliver.

It was like watching a cover band do a greatest hits album, and not the actual band.

I enjoyed the episode for what it is and that is was pretty much a love letter to events from season one. There isn't really anything substantial about this episode other than to remind the audience that the Crisis is coming and that Oliver is destined to die at the Crisis.

I did like seeing a known world get destroyed (that sounds morbid, lol) so as better to establish the stakes for Crisis, and it was nice to see some of those folks again, but yeah, not the most exciting premiere. And the flashforwards are still bringing my interest to a screeching halt (and Mia still grates), but what else is new.

I wish they did 10 episodes of just Oliver travelling to different Eaths with Diggle and doing missions for the Monitor. That would have been more satisfying. The flash forwards feel disconnected and I don't really like any of the characters from the flash forwards.

Mia hasn't even been around for a full season and she's already the most irritating characters in the Arrowverse. There's no way i'll be able to handle a whole season/episode of her with the Black Canaries spin-off.

Yeah, I’d much rather just see a Black Canary show with Cassidy than have to put up with Dinah and Mia, two of my absolute least-favorite characters in this entire universe, with her each week. Those two make it impossible for me to muster any excitement for that.

I wouldn't mind a Black Canary show starring both Katie Cassidy and Caity Lotz. That would have been a perfect replacement for Supernatural.

The CW released this pic about an hour ago. It's supposed to be from tonight's ARROW....I'll put it in a spoiler tag for those that don't want to see it early -

Well that didn’t happen.

Makes me wonder how Zoom would’ve coped, or survived had he still been around at this point.

I’d expect that show to be more successful than Batwoman to be honest; they’re all established characters, and Katherine has a cult following from her Shadowhunter days. It’ll be a hit for one reason or another.

Wouldn't it just be named Canaries then though? :p

i don’t actually mind the concept of two (or three) canaries alongside Huntress or someone, Mia is just going to be an archer girl for the sake of it and to honour her father I suppose..

I enjoyed the premiere but 2040 was a waste of airtime when you're focusing on OG alternate versions of characters we know and love. A Tommy/Laurel scene was cut....for something useless in 2040. It should've taken place strictly on E2 with Oliver exploring as the A plot and Laurel as the B plot with the two converging. We had so much to cover for an Earth that was dying.

I feel making the canaries spin-off isn't a good idea. The show is ending leave it like that. I mean I love Arrow but when something is finishing you should leave it like that.

And for anyone who hasnt seen it

Not a fan of the title, should come up with something Birds of Preyish.

My biggest thing is that these characters still have so many stories left in them because of the shear fact that they've gotten next to none real stories throughout the 8 seasons. We're able to find out and explore new things with them since they've primarily been background characters.

I really enjoyed that throwback episode. Its the final season, something like that should be expected. Seeing Tommy as a Dark Archer is a nice nod to many thoughts in the first season. So, guessing Harry and Jessie won't be in Crisis.

Yep it happened in the comics and as stated before the remaining 5 Earths survived and merged into one.

You can imagine if the same happens with Earth-38.

Despite its ending, last night's Arrow's viewership was 0.87 and rating was 0.3.

Earth 90 got to put on a big fight for their Earth while E2 is a blink and your gone.

Earth-90 seemed to have more super powered heroes, rather than just heroes (or vigilantes). Furthermore, didn’t Laurel say something like ‘Earth is under attack’? Maybe there was fighting that we didn’t see, heroes that were being slaughtered, and by the time the citizens of Starling City found out, it was already too late.

Who knew Mia could be more annoying than Felicity?

I will say, thank Zod they fixed/made up for Laurel over the past few seasons. Luckily they heard some of our (canary) cries on how they did her bad in some pf s1 and all of s2.

It was like an hour later? If even that? E2 should've been all red skies and storms by the time Oliver got there.

Isn't Earth 2 the one with Harry and Jessie? I guess they died then unless they both found a way to escape to earth 1 as well.

They already know how to get to other Earths so no reason to think that they didn't get out.
