They wanted to end the episode on that dramatic reveal. That's why it was in the order it was. There's absolutely nothing else that suggests a connection between Vertigo and the island.

I'd bet money that the flashback occured after Ollie talk to Diggle about trust.

I literally watched the ending after you suggested it was after the trust speech. It is after that, but it happens right as the cop is slapping cuffs on Thea and Oliver has the same dumbfounded look on his face he does when Yao Fei takes off the mask.

Nice write-up.

The camera angle when Oliver goes down and he latches onto the walls is a bit awkward, but it still works really well.

This I have to disagree with though, I thought it was a really neat effect and enhanced the experience a lot.

Also I as well really liked the scene where he scales the wall to find the bullet, probably on of my favorite scenes so far.

Nice write-up.

Thanks!

I think I would've preferred a wide angle shot since it would enhance the parkour more but like I said..it does work. :)

Manu Bennett Talks Playing Deathstroke on Arrow

Spartacus actor Manu Bennett has joined the cast of Arrow as Slade Wilson, aka Deathstroke. Previously playing a gladiator, it shouldn't be too much of a stretch to play the ruthless mercenary, right? Bennett spoke with Access Hollywood about playing the role, which he found quite different.

"There's a very different style to Arrow than what there was to Spartacus. Even when I got there I had a discussion with the writer Andrew Kreisberg about what they wanted and they didn't want Crixus that's for sure, they wanted something original for the show. Arrow is reality based, it's here in the now....It's very fast moving action, it's a whole new techique that I'm learning with them. There's some simliatires (from Spartacus) in that I come onto the show against another strong character."

Bennett will first appear as the mercenary in the series' twelfth episode, titled "Betrayal," which airs February 6. Arrow airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

I've always been a Marvel guy but I'm digging the show. Hope they get several years to develop it further

This show needs to be replaced with a cartoon, it would have much better stories and acting. Even old style cartooning would be better then this.

Awful, awful show, when you cant fast forward fast enough through the non arrow scenes you know your in trouble!!

Sad, when the guest villains can act and the shows leads can't even say their lines.

But beyond that a town full of really stupid cops, family and friends. Awful just awful.

Ok, thanks for playing. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

**** College Basketball, man. It's almost 10 and it still hasn't aired here. My friends all came over to watch it too. :csad:

The Count is coming back with some sort of superpower. I'm betting on it.

What's the point of bashing a show in a forum dedicated to people who watch and enjoy the show? Must be a regular Ebert over here.

Tonight's episode was pretty darn good, lots of character development and I really enjoyed Link from Fringe as the Count. This show just keeps getting better and better in my book.

I really enjoyed tonight's episode. Looking forward to see what he does now in regards to learning about his mom's list.

Does anyone else think that when The Count returns he'll be more manic due to the drugs?

I could see the count being WAAAAY out there next time we see hime, it was funny to see how he played him compared to what he was like on Fringe.

Definitely thinking he is gonna be a nut job next time we see him

And after 2 and a half hours of delaying it they finally start the episode it's 20 minutes in. **** college basketball, man.

Damn, you're a regular fortune teller...

:lmao:

If he thought it was so "awful" why did he keep watching? Anyway...

The Count is yet another villain I'd like to see return. I thought Gabel did a good job with what he was given.

I looked up information about Felicity Smoak as she's a comic book character who would be the stepmother of Firestorm. I hope she will be part of Oliver's inner circle with Diggle.

Awesome episode Seth was great he was out there walking that fine line of sanity and crazy now he's just gonna be crazy. Also awesome trick Oliver pulled on the Russian mob that was nice.
