Since they're bringing in the League of Assassins, I'd like to see Cheshire or maybe even Lady Shiva appear. The League would be a great way to introduce them.

Agreed. I absolutely hated this version of the Huntress.

I think everyone hates Huntress. It really makes me curious as to why the writers wrote her this way. They didn't have to associate her with the Bat-Family to make her interesting (as in the comics Pre New 52), Justice League Unlimited did that to great effect. I had never heard of her before that and I always remembered her afterwards.

It's too late for the Huntress, you don't get redeemed from being a cop killer. They would have to kill the current one and have some other Helena take up the mantle.

In TV-land, no character is beyond redemption. Especially not when their sole misdeed simply involves killing a few nameless mooks. I mean... look at Darth Vader. He blew up a whole friggin' planet!!


As for the Question, if the show does incorporate the character, I wonder what spin they would take on the character? One of the main (I in my opinion, good) things about the show is how they are daring enough to have fresh takes on the characters and to change them quite drastically from their comic book counterparts. Sure, it doesn't always work out according to public opinion... but I definitely appreciate the effort and creativity.

I'll probably get crucified for this but one way I can see them going is to keep The Question as a paranoid conspiracy theorist. However, instead of being a crime fighter, he'd be an online "hacktivist" going by the gender-neutral pseudonym "Sage"; thus allowing the show to play around with the audience's expectations as to the character's identity. And to pay homage to the name, the character could either use the following as a line of dialogue or as a recurring tagline: "People would learn the truth if only they dare to ask the question".

That is all well and good but Vader's redemption required a heroic death. So would this Huntress since she didn't kill just mooks but US Marshals doing their job and guarding someone in the witness protection program.

Which still makes them meaningless Red-shirts; just for the good guys. The only time redemption is "difficult" for the audience to accept is when someone kills a particularly beloved character. And even then, there's still hope for it yet.

Arrow had a nice ratings jump from last week not only in live viewing but live +3 day viewers as well:

In Live + 3 Day delayed viewing, Arrow drew 4.08 million viewers, up +33% from its Live + Same Day average and up +11% from its L+3 average for last week’s season premiere. Arrow rose +42% in adults 18-34 versus L+SD (1.28 vs 0.9), and was up +19% week to week. In adults 18-49, Arrow rose +43% compared to its L+SD rating (1.53 vs 1.07) and was up +18% week to week. 4 million? That's great for the CW. I don't understand the rest of it but all I can tell is that's good news.

Honestly, I think one of the things that makes Arrow so great is that it really doesn't have people already anxiously waiting to see the end point of the protagonists Journey like Smallville had with people wanting to see Clark finally become Superman.

With Arrow, they've somewhat established that almost anything can happen at this point. Heck, I'd argue that the only one safe from dying on the show is Oliver at this point. This whole unpredictable factor is what helps in keeping some people interested in seeing where this all goes.

Yeesh, that's pretty disturbing. Reminds me of that "Super Force" episode where the villain of the week kidnaps women and turns them into mannequins, only the methodology of this guy is WAY ickier.

Something tells me that Black Canary will kill off that villain since Oliver is no longer interested in executing his villains.

Though I do wonder if they'll ever present Oliver in a situation at some point where he's tempted to kill again. Let's say he's in a situation where he comes across a villain that's hurt and killed several innocent people very brutally and has even hurt the ones closest to him. Will they allow him to have so much rage for this villain that he'd be tempted to break his new rule? Should be interesting to see.

Personally, in Oliver's case, I think he should go about it where he no longer attempts to kill someone right off the bat and only does so if he's not presented with any other alternative.

I doubt it. Someone already went after Thea and were even going to kill her if Oliver arrived 2 seconds later and didn't shoot the gun out of the copycat's hands. He still didn't fall back into kill mode.
