For his part, Berlanti is also developing a Flash movie for Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment, with sources telling THR that the feature is being eyed for 2016. Pedowitz also noted that there is no conflict with the movie studio or DC when it comes to the TV series and feature film, as previous efforts have proven troublesome when there's such an overlap.

That doesn't really say that they are 2 separate universes. Though, it does kind of infer it.

Two different actors as Nightwing?

Mini Update! Steven McQueen confirms he has indeed meet with the Arrow producers!

I have trouble believing this. If only because months ago they said they couldn't use any Batman/Superman characters.

And now that we know Nightwing is gonna be in the BVS movie, it seems odd for Nightwing to be appearing in Arrow as well.

If this is true, I very much expect them to restrictions on what they can do with him. Similar, to how the producers on Smallville had restrictions on what they could do with Lois when they brought her in. The most notable, being that she couldn't be in a relationship with Clark.

"We're still on (Justice League Dark), writing, and hopefully it will happen but there are no developments that are new. We're still at Warner Bros., they are making plans for the entire DC universe. All the superheroes, all the mythologies, and part of that is Justice League Dark. They're planning on TV, movies, and all the media, so we have to fit into that plan."

If they are making plans for DC on all the media why bother not fitting their TV plans with movie plans? Makes no sense but we'll see.

My bet is that what GDT is speaking on there is the fact that there will be a Constantine show on NBC and they want him to use the same actor in JL Dark movie. They could be doing the same thing with Nightwing too.

And for all we know, all three of them are wrong. A rumor is a rumor, regardless of how many people are spreading it around.

Whoa! Just found out that Moira's lawyer is a comic book character. She is Jean Loring, who is Ray Palmer's wife in the comics (Ray Palmer is the Atom).

The amount of easter eggs and references this show has at this point is immense. It truly feels like the DC Universe.

I'm kind of hoping the new bosses at Warner are looking at the cost benefit analysis and projected pros and cons of trying to enforce one concentrated universe against separate universes and just saying "Eh, screw it. Didn't do jack against Smallville and Superman Returns, and we were going to have a Justice League movie and Nolan's trilogy at the same time with different actors. Why not try just cutting lose on the embargo and seeng how many character we can put in successful movies and TV shows?"

Because really, if you wanted to test the viability of a character on a wider audience, TV's probably the safer test zone than a movie.

After all, that's pretty much how we got Arrow.

Given the rate at which WB is screwing up the DC Universe on the big screen, I would love to see as many DC characters on TV as humanly possible that have nothing to do with the live-action versions. Arrow has done a great job at building a universe so far, even if a few characters were lacking.

Indeed. I'd love to see the Arrow universe eventually expand to include other notable guest appearances/cameos or even other spin-offs.

I want Arrow to be its own universe now too. If Flash gets his own show I think Green Lantern could work on tv too actually.

Not confirmed, it sounds like lobbying for the part.
