For some reason I can get over Roy not looking like his comic book counterpart more than I can with Barry.

Good mask, but why is he still wearing makeup? =/ I hope Snyder's MOS2 will break the trend of having a Batman that still applies makeup. Maybe that way they will stop applying makeup to other heroes as well.

Well I liked the make up for one, would have preferred his mask if it was more in line with Sara's.

I don't mind Batman and other masked heroes wearing eye makeup.

This issue is that they never show them with the makeup when they take the masks off.

Do that, and it would be fine. It still bugs me that Nolan had a scene in BB where they showed it, but cut it.

the mask looks so weird. the whole concept is so impractical here. mask or paint, if you stand too close to him you'll figure out who he is easily.

Like the mask as it's part of his evolution from vigilante to hero. This is something that Justin Hartley's version from Smallville should have been wearing.

Don't know why he's still wearing the make up with the mask. But at least he learned from Sara and is wearing a mask. Her's covered up more of her face, hiding her identity a little better, so he should probably invest in bigger mask.

I understand, but what I mean is that you have to tell your self that in Comicbook/TV Land it absolutely DOES conceal his identity. That's the part you have to suspend your disbelief for.

You basically have to tell yourself, "Screw it, I'll play along, NO ONE can tell it's Ollie now because of the mask."

Even though you know that in the real world people probably would know it was him. If all of this was real, but it's not. If they had a mugshot up on CNN with the mask on people would recognize him.

But in the rules of Arrow the T.V. show you have to play along a little.

Okay, did some digging. As far as I know the mask will debut in "the three ghosts" episode 9 for those that didn't know. Also I think Barry will be one of the new People in the arrow cave.
