Yeah I've been thinking Laurel might join the LOA but now that Nyssa kinda kidnapped her mother, I'm not so sure. Slade is another possibility.

I was thinking Slade would take an interest in her.He did say he'd "corrupt" the people that he loves.True they showed Felicity when he said that, but it would've telegraphed it too much to show Laurel.

Blood did tell to Slade that he asked him to get closer to Laurel, so maybe....

It's called hypocrisy with a hint of irony as the son is like the mother. But that clearly went over your head.

It's called character development. It's only OOC if you've been completely ignoring everything going on with her this season.

That's sort of the point of his character.

Who wouldn't? And it's not like the two of them had past history or anything. :whatever:

Of course oliver lies to family.Almost all super heroes does.Still most don't have a mother like Moira.

There Is plenty of history between Oliver and Sarah so that's not hard ot imagine plus there Is a shipper group for them.

One semi-odd aspect of “Heir to the Demon” was not seeing Roy Harper, given he had just learned Oliver Queen’s identity and been taken into his lair at the end of the last episode. The producers revealed Roy actually was originally in the episode, with Kreisberg explaining, “There was an amazing sequence in here that we actually had that unfortunately we just had to cut for time because this episode was just so jam-packed. But we actually had Oliver tell Roy, ‘I want you to go down to the hospital and keep an eye on Laurel.' When Nyssa and her goon kidnap Mrs. Lance, Roy actually confronts them. Nyssa shoots him with a dart with snake venom and says, ‘A normal person would be dead by now. You're stronger than you look,’ and he says, ‘I get that a lot.’ Then they have a fight, but the venom starts to affect him, and she takes him out. It's a great sequence, and they're great in it, but it wasn't propelling the story forward. It was just a really neat moment. But yes, the next five episodes -- in addition to everything else that's going on -- it really charts Oliver's attempts to keep Roy on the straight and narrow.”

Oh-ho yes.

well
Yes!

Yes

Thanks for the info guys.

Jeez, if we really do get a Birds of Prey group featuring BC and Huntress, they might as well call the group..."Oliver's Olives" as well since he's been physically involved with almost every known member so far.lol

Kind of weird though..I mean, for them to get back together. The impression that I've gotten from the show is that Oliver never really had real feelings for Sarah on a romantic note and only fooled around with her because of his commitment issues with Laurel, so it's weird for him to get involved with her.

But oh well.

And I'm still surprised that they went there with BC regarding Nyssa, but I guess if they can do the same with James Bond in "Skyfall" then almost anything is possible.lol

>Execitive producer Marc Guggenheim noted, “We were very anxious about [the fact that] in the same episode we reveal that Sara had had this lesbian relationship, she is also sleeping with Oliver again, and we really wanted to approach it and not be salacious and be sensitive and be realistic. We actually specifically avoided using the term ‘bisexual.’ We didn't want to label her at all. Let her be her own person. If the audience wants to label, fine, but we wanted to not make it that specific -- because it is a very specific relationship to Sara and Nyssa. By the way, maybe Sara's had other female relationships in her past, but we'll get to that in due course when it's right, if it's right. But we wanted to not just do something to shock.”

Batwoman?

Seems like the Blonde Characters in this series have a lot of luck with women.

I'm not sure if they're completely back together. They both just got hit with some pretty shocking news/emotional blows. I'm not so sure that it wasn't just comfort sex. As for Sara having other female lovers, coughReneeMontoyacough.

I'm not sure why one would hate Laurel in this episode. Plenty of their problems stem from Sara.

It seems to me people who dislike Laurel, will find reason to put the most negative twist on anything she does to only to hate her more

Now,I admit I'm not well versed in comics lore (I wasn't even aware Ra's had another daughter before now) but why did Nyssa call herself "Heir of the Demon"?Is she ahead of Talia?I always thought Ra's wanted Talia to marry Bruce because he wanted a "male" heir?
Ra's has MANY children, but Talia and Nyssa are the two most prominent. In the comics, they co-lead the LOA after Ra's dies.

Just curious, what happened Summer Glau's character? Haven't seen her in awhile

Summer will be back. They've been juggling multiple plot-lines that really don't involve her. The producers have said that she'll play a much bigger/more important role later on in the season.

In a interview the producers said that she'll be back in episode 17 (if I'm not mistaken, not sure about the number but it's before 20 and after 15) and we'll know what she was up to

"we'll get to that in due course"

Sounds like Sara's in for the long haul by that quote.:woot:

I can wait.:woot:

I dislike her, but I'm not going to let that defy logic in terms of her anger at the end of this episode.

I think having Laurel turn heel is really the way to go.She's had plenty of time for us to get know her and see her fall from her young idealistic goody-goody days to her current bitter and vengeful state. For those of us that actually like the character,it's a pretty heartbreaking affair. It kinda reminds me of watching Anakin's fall in the prequels.

I'm not talking about making her a bank robber or assassin. But she has reasons that (at least in her mind) are justifiable to want revenge. If she allied herself with Slade for some end goal that he can give her,it would be a pretty compelling direction.Especially seeing Sara & Quinton trying to deal with her.It would be a cool way of Slade corrupting someone Ollie loves (like he promised),leading the clashes between them to be even more personal.

Or it could be because the writers have annihilated the character to the point where, whenever she appears on screen, I go "Oh, great..." and hope that the scene ends quickly.

I don't know what they're building up to with her character, but the road so far has been very sloppy.

As for our the latest regular addition to the team...

Given that we now have three regular female characters that have either history or chemistry with Oliver, it's probably safe to say that Slade (or his plans) will wind up killing one of them, if only to cull the cast down a little.

Overall a good episode. But Nyssa should've wiped the floor with Ollie. I seriously can not wait till they get Laurel past this alcoholic druggie phrase and start actually building the character and making her stronger.
