Honestly Thea's character/mood swings are so abrupt and extreme that I've pretty much given up on them ever consistently writing her like an actual human being.

lol; I know right? Heck, I think her mood swings are pretty much a representative of what the writers for this show are like.

I mean last week's episode, we had Thea defending Malcolm and how he still has hope for redemption. We also had Roy backing up Malcolm as well.

Yet in this week's episode, it's like they turned all of that upside down.

I wish the writers would stay consistent.

You know, I would at least be able to somewhat tolerate the idea that Oliver feels the need (even with that flawed logic) to go to Malcolm for help IF Malcolm didn't kill Sara at least....thus Ra's only beef with Malcolm being what he did in the Glades and with Thea only being involved because she's his daughter.

But Malcolm used Thea to kill Sara which only made things worse so I don't see on how the producers can expect people to buy into all of this.

And like someone else said, it doesn't really make any sense now on why Thea and Roy are still apart. The only reason why Thea left Roy is because she was fed up with his lies, but now she knows that all of his lies were because he was helping Green Arrow, aka her brother out...so I don't know why they're still apart. At least they didn't have Thea kiss Roy on the mouth since Lord knows where her mouth was on only a few hours ago.lol

And did anyone else think that something looked off about Caity when she just appeared as Sara (out of costume)?

LOA sure love to sleep with their enemy, cough Talia cough.

I honestly wonder what their course guide must look like when people first join the group...

Semester 1- Infiltration: To beat the enemy, you must sleep with the enemy.

Semester 2- Extracurricular Activities: Business Management 101 or DJ 202

She looked pretty normal to me.

Took a quick look again, and I think why it felt a bit different was that they had applied makeup that was a bit more noticeable than her previous look.

On another note, I gotta say... I think Laurel's scene where she thought she was seeing Sara as Team Arrow were trying to apply the medicine to her is perhaps her best acting scene in the season, so far.

So glad they just ripped the band-aid off Thea not knowing about Oliver, Quentin not knowing about Sara, and DJ Assassin.

And I know i've been a critic and while I still disagree with her being rushed into Black Canary, i'm glad that we wont have episodes filled with Oliver and Laurel bickering about her fighting crime.

Also kind of enjoyed Roy getting salty with Oliver.

I was hoping for a comment from Thea that she may be as good as archer as Oliver is!

couple of storyline wrapped up a few new one begins........I guess this is where it kicks off for rest of the season

The Good:

- Laurel.

- Sara.

- Quentin learning the truth.

- The tension between Oliver and Felicity. They clearly haven't forgotten their conversation at the end of last week's episode.

- Willa Holland. She's great to look at and you can tell she's trying.

The Bad:

- Thea. Malcolm withholds one piece of information from her and she's suddenly offended by his past actions and considers him to be a terrible and manipulative person? Wasn't she SO grateful for his love and company and support an episode ago?

- Roy. He was all for accepting Malcolm's help an episode ago and was supportive of his relationship with Thea, but now - for no reason - he hates him again? Also: what was his motivation for following Thea and Chase? Why did he suit up to do it? Did he really just hang back and watch them have sex?

- Some of the action was badly filmed/choreographed.

- Oliver and Roy were clearly consumed by the flames before they landed on the ground. They should be badly, badly burned, if not dead.

- Chase. What a pointless subplot.

The Okay:

- Vertigo. He wasn't terrible, but he wasn't great either. I understood his purpose, but I feel as if it could have and would have been an angle explored better while Oliver was still gone.

- Quentin is aware that Sara isn't dead, but he's still alive. That's great, I never wanted him to be killed off in the first place, but...what was the point of keeping Sara's death a secret if they weren't going to allow the shock to seriously injure or kill him? It's possible they'll do more with it in future episodes, so I'm putting it in the "Okay" column for now.

5/10. That's two bad episodes in a row.

Might be one of my favorite episodes yet, but next week is gonna be even better, looks amazing!

So glad Lance knows. So glad Thea knows.

Was awesome to see Arrow and Canary working side by side.

I'm so tired of Roy.

I still love Thea. <3

Edit: And it was still great to see Sara again.

what about the fact that Malcolm was possible next to him? why was Malcolm with him? where they were possible both watching her have sex I mean get it on ? that is even more disturbing. what's going on with these writers ? lol oh man .

How the hell did Roy get there so quickly? I can just imagine him sitting outside the door crying while listening to all the noise Thea & DJ were making inside :funny:

The apartment is probably bugged with cameras or Merlyn already figure out that Chase is with the league

I'm surprised this episode is so highly rated. Am I missing something? I get that different people will like different things, and I'm happy that Quentin now knows about Sara and that Thea is finally being written like a rational human being, but I can't help but think that some people are dismissing the journey for the destination. It's great that those things happened, but in the context of the show and how it all played out, I thought most agreed that it was tedious at best.

ohhhhhhhhhh that's not helping. & he got there really fast. Roy's reason makes sense he did that Double shake he does when he came out of the club with his head when he saw those two leaving. So it could be said it was jealously or just distrust. though it was odd. Malcolm it's just weird. so I'll pretend it's the latter of what you said . shudders

You know, I will admit that I thought Amell did a GREAT Job selling Oliver's anxiety over waiting to see how Thea was going to react to him once she was down in the "Arrow Cave".

I wonder what she was thinking that the room that she been trying to get into is a secret lair and how did she manage to get in when Laurel had the Vertigo in her.....I don't think Oliver just gave away the pass code!

Don't bother that lock has failed that hq for a while .

Not to mention she was standing right there when he entered the code.

Shout out to Dagget oh yeah.

they really have to relocate....I mean Merlyn came in again....it seem like a running joke now
