I know that Cameron originally thought he would use Lance Henriksen as the Terminator and even did some concept art using Lance's likeness. I think that the higher ups wanted a name to play the Terminator and that's when O.J. came up. Luckily for all of us along came Arnold and the rest is history.

Correct! Funny thing is I never really noticed this until yesterday.

One thing I noticed that's odd about BTTF is well...

Original timeline Doc gets murdered in the parking lot of Twin Pines mall.

Marty travels back in time and kills one of the two pines preventing the guy from 'breeding them' and give doc a letter informing him of his death

This creates a new timeline in which it's Lone Pine Mall and Doc wears a vest and survives.

Here's where it's odd. In the original timeline with the two pines mall, Doc says "old man Peabody used to own all of this and had a crazy idea about breeding pine trees". Doc is standing in Twin Pines mall, Old man Peabody did breed pine trees so it wasn't a crazy idea.

Orginal timeline Doc is talking like new timeline Doc, where Peabody didn't breed pines as Marty killed the second.
