Trying to do a two-birds boss fight against Yellowjacket and Whiplash but keep getting killed.

That isn't so difficult. I usually three bird the boss fight in Mission 1. It's the ones in Mission 2 and 3 which are difficult without adequate supplies.

EDIT: Damn. I got the Moonstone AISO - one character I'm never going to have.

I bet Deathlok will be a deploy hero for the next SO.

^Yeah, it's the Mission 2 fight I'm having trouble with.

Speaking of supplies, do they always give out Candy buckets around Halloween? If so I only have to wait 3 months to get more.

I think so. But wow. It's already nearly a year since I had them. They really came in useful. I completely exhausted my supply but need to definitely stock up on them in October. I need thousands.

Other supplies I could do with right now are Tacos, chrono accelerators and pages of Vishanti.

Used to be able to send pages of Vishanti as gifts but it's been awhile since I could send any

I'm almost out of candy buckets, but I still have a lot of candy apples and taffys.

I can't remember what candy apples do. I might have a few taffys left, but they don't protect you in the same way as candy buckets.

I used up my apples and taffys first to help the buckets last longer.

Apples give health and stamina to your whole team, gives you sugar rush, puts exhausted on opponents.

Taffys might not be as good as Candy Buckets, but they still give you ethereal, and put adhesive x on the opponents, so I'll still use em,.

I finally got the epic weapon and I've got enough components for the gold weapon, so I'm in good shape to get the entire set.

That's great about Hyperion. But why a lockbox hero? Is that because he was first in Squadron Sinister before Squadron Supreme? I'm glad it's his classic appearance too. In fact, with that mask, it looks like his Squadron Sinister first appearance.

So many versions of Hyperion to choose from. lol

Did anyone here ever read Exiles? The version in that, King Hyperion, was as evil as it gets.

Hyperion, eh? Now we'll get a pretty good idea of what Superman would be like in the game.

Well only in terms of body shape and cape. The rest of him won't look that much like Superman. Maybe if he didn't have his domino mask on.

Doesn't he have an origin very similar to this whole idea of this shrunken bottle city of Kandor from Superman? I remember there was something about that in Avengers #70.

EDIT: I think Thor somehow managed to miniaturise him and trap him in a glass sphere. I don't know how Thor suddenly had shrinking powers.

Yeah he's Marvel's allegory to Superman. The entire Squadron Supreme represents Justice League counterparts.

Although the Squadron Supreme didn't actually appear until 1971. It was the Squadron Sinister who appeared first in 1969 and were created by the Grandmaster. It was almost like he created evil Dopplegangers out of nothing of Superman, Batman, Green Lantern and the Flash rather than these characters being plucked from an alternate universe. However, it was later retconned that they were created as evil counterparts of the Squadron Supreme from Earth 712.

But the 616 universe versions are the Squadron Sinister. Interestingly enough, some of these 616 versions have gone on to become characters in their own right quite apart from the later Squadron Supreme itself. Nighthawk, for example, who joined the Defenders, is actually the one from the Squadron Sinister. And Whizzer became the Spider-Man villain Speed Demon. Doctor Spectrum also reappeared later on by himself to fight Iron Man, and Hyperion also reappeared alongside Thundra to battle the Thing.

That Hyperion definitely looks like the Squadron Sinister version though, because I don't think the Squadron Supreme version wears a mask at all.

Now that's an odd one. She looks like a covered Angela. I thought they normally create worthy alts of 90 CP heroes. I'm not that fond of these worthy alts anyway. I'd prefer to see actual alternate comic costumes of these heroes. If we actually saw them first, then I'd be okay with the worthy alts, but they seem to be a long time coming. They could've had Mockingbird with her bare legs and pony tail version, or even the more classic covered legs version instead of just modern Mockingbird.

COMICS! Are! WEIRD!

COMICS! Are! WEIRD!

They are, and Squadron Sinister and Squadron Supreme are really confusing. But Sinister only really had 4 members in it (the same four from 1969 but often replaced by new versions like there were different versions of Green Lantern and the Flash), while Supreme has as many members as the Justice League. Actually, I'm not even sure if Sinister are still operating, given that some have gone on to do different things.

With MB's art being shown today, the speculation is now when CH 9 will be released. Based on previous Worthy's artwork being shown and their subsequent releases, it should be within the next 2 weeks.

As for heroes who could be the remaining Worthy, the last female Worthy could be Tigra, Wasp, or Thundra. As for the 2 remaining male spots, it's looking like it's going to come down to Black Panther, Gambit, Captain Britain, Hercules, Black Knight, Union Jack, and possibly Dr. Voodoo (not sure of the introduction timeline the producers set for heroes to be Worthy so he may or may not be eligible.)

What are the chances of Adrianne Palicki wearing a Nerkkod costume like the above on Agents of SHIELD?

It probably would come out as lame as Deathlok's Laser Tag outfit though. :o

Also, now that they released Quake with longer hair in Avengers Alliance, Chloe Bennett went and got her hair cut shorter. Not quite like comics Quake (which is like Maria Hill) but shorter than the AA version certainly:

This is the scary Hyperion I mentioned in case you're unfamiliar.
