He's a bore if you read his Silver Age, one dimensional comics. Just like all the Silver Age, one dimensional characters.

:hal: :hal: :hal:

I do prefer Kyle and Guy yes. I grew up with Kyle, and fell in love with Guy when I came back to comics.

I've given Hal and John plenty of chances to impress me. They still do nothing for me.

Jean Grey never really even had a personality, did she? In everything I've seen her in she is nothing but a prize to be won by either Cyclops or Wolverine.

Have you never read Dark Phoenix Saga? I mean even a one shot like X-Men vol2 #28 shows how strong a character she is.

Morrison did wonders with her before he offed her. Probably the best modern day portrayal of Jean and he wrote her as an individual and not the other half of Scott

or other American cities that are not NY

True. It would be nice if the villains actions during this crisis were dealt in some tie in materials or dealt with right after this event is done. It would be silly if most villains sat out this and Civil War. I think DC does a better job of incorporating their villains in these events. During Blackest Night, there were some tie materials that had villains fighting zombies.

And then he dropped a bridge on her.

Emma was written the worst under Fraction. I remember he wrote her softer and more caring, and implied she was an omega level telepath. I absolutely hate it when she's written as that, because she might as well be Jean than.

I like Emma when she has owns her sexuality, and seems cold and uncaring. And Jean and Emma are completely different characters, so Emma does not have to die if Jean comes back. They had an interesting dynamic in New X-men.

I think Kyle/Yost wrote the worst Emma. They are the ones responsible for the crap that was The Confession, not to mention her cowering down in tears while in her diamond form when she isnt supposed to be capable of showing such emotion

Lord have mercy. Uncanny Avengers might be one of the worst titles of all time. Im still more inclined to try it (I'm a Remender fan) and Hickman's Avengers than Bendis' X-Men though.

It actually looks good because it doesn't have Bendis involved.

You guys seen this?I don't know how to feel about it.I might try Uncanny Avengers but Bendis's X-men sounds....stupid.

I'm liking Cyclops new costume (though it does look like it cold have been a redesigned Daredevil costume), I was bored with the one he's been wearing for ages now. Plus it reminds me somewhat of this...

I'm also loving how Iron Man's armour is drawn in the pic in the article too.

at least Bendis isnt taking over Uncanny from Gillen. Now that would have been awful. Let him take X-men, which has always been an irrelevant series

It seems like it will continue to be irrelevant too. A time travel story by Bendis....? I smell an Eisner award. :o

Marvel is trying but they should have done something like DC and just started over.

That picture... looks like Japanese Anime on crack. And why does Cyclops look like Ant-Man?

Of course you have to start over with ALL your titles, not just the ones don't sell as well as you'd like (COUGH::Batman::COUGH::Green Lantern::COUGH). Selective reboots just create more problems later on.

The whole simply ignoring what came before that might make your story impossible to work thing they've been doing seems to do the trick.

Cuz he is.

I think he's original Fury's son or something and they're gonna pull the old switcharoo. :o

Yeah that's "Nick Jr." apparently

I say they stick with Marcus Fury, at least that doesn't seem quite AS cheesy

I just think they should have done a full reboot and just changed some of the history. However that's what the Ultimate line is for. To me it just seems like a regular Marvel thing where they are always changing the costume of the heroes and always doing these all new number 1's and nothing really changes. So it doesn't even excite me but then again I already said I will not pick up another Marvel book till they undo his deal with the devil.
