I dont need to play it to predict that it will win Game of the Year. Thats my prediction based off everything we have seen and going by the fact that the last game was as good as it was. I feel Naughty Dog will go way above and beyond what made the first game such a stand out thus nabbing it the overall best game for 2009. Now you are right, maybe the game is just going to fall flat and in no way deserve that title. I happen to think thats very unlikely and itll be the opposite. Again, i dont need to play it to predict it will be the GOTY. Period.

Sales wise yes, gameplay wise no. Again, what im saying is just going over your head. You have said its basically impossible to say a game will be worthy of GOTY before one has played it, thats just not true. I used MGS4 as an exapmple. That was a game many knew was going to be fantastic and it was due to previous versions of the game and industry reaction. Its what im doing with Uncharted 2. Get it yet?

No, it wont top B:AA. MW2, i cant disagree with you really. The AIAS gave the first Modern Warfare title the overall Game of the Year, it could happen again. I still think Uncharted takes it, but thats me.

It can top B:AA. It has a wider appeal, greater replay value, and it's the friggin Beatles.

A handheld isnt going to win the AIAS Game of the Year award. Not saying it doesnt deserve it, i just dont see it happening.

Because of Scribbblenauts' uniqueness and how its popularity exploded at E3, If any handheld is ever going to win it, it will be this.

So far I'm only 26% done with this game, it is quite a long game, I was expecting to be 50% done with it by now, but I guess not. Which is a good thing, really.

Actually, the percentage isn't a factor of the length of the game's story, but of the number of trophies/challenges/upgrades/bios that you've received.

You'll only get about 75% after beating the main game and 85% if you find all of the riddles/trophies. The other 15-20% comes from finishing all of the challenges and receiving the medals.

So, if you're at 26%, you ARE almost halfway done..

Like i said, go read some of the reviews. GOTY is mentioned more than once by different outlets. Im not saying it'll win it, as that honor will go to Uncharted 2, but this game will be in the running.

beat the game today. Loved every minute of it.

Now I'm going back to get the challenges I missed and am having a hell of a time getting one of the riddles in the abandoned chamber of the Botanical Gardens.

I've gone as high as I seemingly can go, yet I'm not high enough to see the question mark. I'm up to the part where you have two ledges and in the middle of them is the break away wall that you take out from the scaffolding directly across from it and you zip and get the trophy. I've done that however for the life of me, I can't figure out where to go up from there? Any tips?

Yeah I just figured that out. I didnt crouch under the bricks and walk to the end of the platform.

Now it says that I still have 1 in the northwest corner of the room that for the life of me I can't find.

Thought I could be slick and grapple up the pipe by the waterfall but that didnt even work. Looks like it could be hiding at the top of the room, but I'm a bit clueless as to how I get up there.

Beat it last night, very good game, I freaking loved it. The only complaints I have is that I kept getting lost in the Asylum, heh sometimes I can't read a map. Also, the whole armored suit business, I would have loved to use that in story mode. Another thing is the end, free roaming the asylum is fun, and finding all the Riddler stuff is nice and challenging. But...it sucks there is no one to fight, it would've been cool to have thugs re-spawn, just to keep some fun alive.

Overall I give it a solid 8.5/10. It deserves every amount of praise.t:

You know I just realized they have bios for like every villain except for Man-Bat. I thought he was one of the more popular Batman foes. Instead we get The Great White Shark, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, Humpty Dumpty and even Calender Man as unlockable profiles. With the exception of Calender Man I've never even heard of this villains before.

Thats the last thing i would have wanted. When i went back to collect anything i missed i didnt want to have to worry about fighting any body, thats what 2nd, 3rd and in my case, 4th time play throughs are for.

Well, I only do play throughs if you can unlock anything, and doing all that for just an achievement isn't enough for me. The free roaming to get all the trophies and secret stuff is good, but when you get all that, then what? That's why wanted re-spawning thugs.

I personally think modern warfare2 will winit, the first one was amazing(ccampagn), it had the best beginning, sniper mission, nuclear explosion scene, and ending of an game I have ever played. But I hope killzone 2 tags it, my favorite game of the year. I'm rooting for batman, but I don't think it will cut it. With the massive games coming out this December.
