Is this worth getting? I was put off by some early reviews I saw
Got the DLC. Meh. Just challenge maps with brief cinematic intros. I was hoping for something more. Harley Quinn's Revenge was better than this.
Did they ever fix the freezing issue? I haven't played in a while.
.
The replay value is very limited.
I agree they are much better..for the most part,The endings to them still suck and didn't really find anything wrong with Oracle
She wasn't jealous, just doesn't understand how he could be with a woman as nuts as Talia. Not to mention she stands against everything Batman does.
Well I never really complained remember I said "I 'd be ok with it ether way" be it a mix of both or if it was challenge maps there was some story. So in a way it was a mix of both and it was a little narrative as you suspected it would be.I don't think they're comparable, though.
The one that would be comparable to Harley's Revenge will be the story DLC that they'll release later. We'll see how that winds up holding up against it, since it's supposed to be the same kind of thing.
That's another strike for the Lazarus pit being a cure for drugs but it's been like a drug in its own right, in both the comic's and animated series. and why batman refused it once he saw the side effects with R'as. Ether way put bane on it or force it on him and that will be the case for him cause he'll want to abuse the super strength boost you pick from it after you just come out from it and want keep that high from it.While Arkham City has better gameplay, I stopped playing it because the story does not hold up, over repeat plays; in fact, certain elements piss me off.
-Strange being reduced to a puppet.
-R'as being reduced to a bitter junkie.
-Too many eggs in the basket: Protocol 10 and the search for the cure. They should have selected one and pursued it to the fullest. It feels like there are two conjoined games in AC. I love the hell out of it and still retain my initial rating (A-) but, still, there should have been editing with the script.
truth be told it was more then just that . there was bruce's reaction to when Ra's came out of the pit and tore into his own people and noticed the addiction to it as well. The overall negative effects he didn't like them at all . And there was the fact that what in Ra's mind made him think that Bruce would want to run assassin's?Well, I think AC probably played that card too soon. I think that aspect of Ra's is probably best to play out over time, and not all in one story. I do enjoy, how in other media, eventually Ra's pretty much begins to lose himself more and more. I think the concept of the Pits is that eventually, madness begins to set in and the regenerative process becomes weaker.
I remember that Batman Beyond episode where Bruce pretty much explains that one of Ra's greatest weaknesses was his fear. He's so afraid of his own mortality, that he's essentially a coward in Bruce's eyes.
When it comes to Pits, I think Ra's is always going to be like a junkie. He needs his fix.
