I think this figures into it. Maybe Wayne Manor is under siege?

Yes, he did. I remember because I just played the story mode.
I don't recall exactly what he said, but I think it had something to do with the party being important and that Bruce had to be in it.

Honestly I wish we could get more story DLC for these games. Like episodic story DLC.

Just saying, with a game like this there are a lot of story possibilities. Since this one is Mr. Freeze, why not another focusing on say Harvey Dent and the origin of Two-Face?

Another one could be Deathstroke and the Suicide Squad.

I wonder if there will be a day when DLC comes out like episodes of a mini-series where your experience with a game can go on for longer than a year or two. For example: Let's say they have Mr. Freeze DLC that has the episode and an overarching plot that continues into the next 2 DLC episodes so that the 3 DLC stories make a mini-season. That'd be awesome
