I like Clooney, and actually I liked Clooney more then Kilmer (I hated Forever), however Schumacher gave him crap to work with. Best thing is, Clooney - unlike Schumacher - appolgized and took the blame for B&R.


My biggest reason for not wanting is Robin is that he really lightens up Batman, after all thats why he was added to the comic - to draw CHILDREN into the series. I agree with Bob Kane who later regretted adding Robin to Bats.

well if they do something "Death in the Family" related, im sure readers who hate the robin/jason todd will enjoy seeing him die, and mainstream fans will see robin can be as serious a character with flaws as batman is. its jus up to the writers.

interested fact about Clooney though. i was wondering what the cast thinks about the movie after i tanks.

By the way, the sequel choice for me. (As of right now). Would be Batman The Dark Knight. Only because it shows what Batman has turned himself into over the course of time. First movie Batman Begins, second Batman The Dark Knight, third Batman Forever! haha. (That was a joke!) No one take that serious and flame me! Anyway, if not Batman The Dark Knight. Maybe Escalation or The Killing Joke (In respect of The Joker, of course).

I thought Vla Kilmer was better than George Clooney. He seemed to serious as Bruce Wayne, who really isn't serious, at least not to the public. Plus, in BF, they had that cool flashback when Bruce was a kid, and fell in the cave. Kinf of like BB.

On the issue of Robin, Robin wouldn't necessarily turn the franchise into a Lucky Charms commercial or a Sesame Street episode or anything. If the partnership was written similar to Bruce and Carrie in DKR then the franchise will still be dark enough that you can't see where you're going.
