BvS Batman-Superman Movie in 2015

I really like Snyder as a director but i don't think his style fits Batman, at all.
Man as Nolan batman course not.. but as BATMAN FROM THE COMICS.. ARKHAM STYLE WOULD BE AWESOME!!!

I hope this is not a Versus Movie..that would honestly be bad in my opinion. Superman and Batman should not fight..

Even if it turns out it's not a versus film, I'm sure there will be a fight scene between the two. Miller's Dark Knight Returns quote read by Lennix at SDCC seems to support that.

I feel it will look like a pseudo gothic-video game slow mo thing. Nothing that snyder has done until now screams batman to me. the Watchmen feel is the closest but still its not there. I am not a fan of one guy helming the entire DCCU. Alfonso Cuaron brings some genuin gothic romance without being goofy like Burton. I think the two directors would mix nicely together.

I guess I'm in the opposite camp.

My ideal movie would be Superman is doing a great job in Metropolis, but he is still getting used to the power that come along with his abilities. Batman in Gotham is highly critical of Superman's good intentions and wonders what would happen if he switched sides. Bruce Wayne (Having figured out Superman's identity using high-tech and good old fashioned detective techniques) visits Metropolis under the guise of a business trip. It is here where he learns about Krypton and the effects earth's sun radiation has on the man of steel. He deduces that perhaps a piece of his home planet (synthesized of not) might be enough to reduce Superman's powers. Batman creates kryptonite like in The Dark Knight Returns, and confronts Superman. A fight ensues when Superman mistakingly learns about Batman's plan to beat him, thinking it is a threat rather than an insurance policy. Naturally Batman wins, He has the skill, the smarts and most importantly the kryptonite. Superman learns Batman is on his side when he refuses to kill him and instead offers to be an ally.

I imagine there would be a larger sweeping arch for The Man of Steel himself, but to me at least this is what I would like to see. I'm flexible though and I have all the faith in the world until the movie is actually released.

:funny: they should not fight? Why not? They absolutely should fight, that's the best part about these two characters. Theyre at odds with each other just as much as they team-up to fight evil. They certainly wont be friends when they meet. They need to fight.

Why not? Because that concept of the heroes fighting when they first meet is almost as old as comics themselves. I've been reading comics since the pre-Adam West days, and they've were using that idea back then. (Marvel especially was guilty of doing this). It's a tired old cliché at this point, and I personally would not like to see it in this movie for that reason.

It doesn't matter because it's Batman and Superman. This actually has meaning to it and them fighting is iconic.

I feel that if they fight it solidifies their friendship later on. Batman is to smart and cautionary to leave Superman unchecked, and Superman is to much of a boy scout to leave a dark and somewhat fringe hero like Batman. They need to know the other won't use their powers for the wrong reasons. They need to know the other is on their side. How can they know for certain unless one has had the option to end the other and didn't because it wasn't the right thing to do. Also, what make a better movie, the meeting of the heros who decide to besties; or a fight between two titans that solidifies their common goal of peace. It may be backwards, but I think it is kind of awesome. And being a fan of the comics, I want to see it live action so bad.

Do you know what would be awesome? Cavill's Superman meeting Supermen from other dimensions played by Cage, Hartnett, Bomer...

He did an amazing job with Rorschach and Owl Man (similar to Batman I´m not saying the same) but if He did a great job with Supes.. He can also do it with Bats..

If there is anything I'm sure of, it's that Batman will be an awesome visual spectacle in this Snyder film. No doubt about it. The guy knows his comic books and knows his visuals. I can't freaking wait to see some of the ways he shoots Batman.

I love to death the Nolan films but there weren't enough "BATMAN" visuals of out and out awesomeness. Rises had the best looking Batman shots.

The way Snyder will shoot Batman, that's going to be the most exciting thing on the planet for me. Nothing will be greater visually.

The scene from Begins of Batman perched on a building right after taking down Falcone is still for me the best Batman shot in any of the movies.

Will be hard to top that.

I don't want the same director to helm all these movies. If it's a co-direction then i'm 100% ok with it but i want a different director for each character and most importantly a different writer.

This isn't really a new character though. Before Snyder and Lennix announced Batman/Superman he said they were making the sequel. The sequel just has Batman in it, one of the most well known and beloved characters of all time.

I hope the title isn't "Superman vs. Batman" or vice versa. I'd like to still see a focus on Superman, but perhaps I'm in the minority.

You're not. My love for Batman dwarfs my love for Superman so hard it's not even fair, but I'd still prefer this film to focus on Superman.

I have to say, "Batman vs. Superman" does sound like a kind of video gamey title. It gives me an "Alien vs. Predator" vibe. A good title should be able to reflect the theme somehow, rather than simply working as a piece of advertisement.

But honestly, I can't think of an appropriate title outside of that or World's Finest (or some combination thereof). I kind of wish "Clash of the Titans" wasn't taken. :oldrazz:
