Do you ever say anything that's not in some way negative? Cause I've never seen it.
Maybe you just like reading my negative post's because I write plenty of positive stuff on here. If you think that I am negative than you need to visit Hype more because I am the least of your worries.

I'll write something positive just for you.

I loved the Blade (first two) and Spider-Man movies, oh and also Hellboy.

V for Vendatta abo****ley. A real thinking man's blockbuster. Superman Returns was a close second and X-men 3 doesn't even count as a comic book film because it was so bad

V for Vendetta

Superman Returns comes in secont.

Xmen 3 doesnt even deserve to be in the same sentence with those films.

What's with this "X3 was bad, but at least it was fun" talk? I know that bad movies can be fun (Earth Girls Are Easy, Zoolander, etc.) but they are fun because they don't take themselves seriously. X3, on the other hand, did take itself seriously. Sure, it had its light moments ("I'm the Juggernaut, *****!"; "Grow those back.") but overall it treated itself as though it was this ultimate epic movie when really it was just a merchandising tool, a forgettable popcorn flick that did its predecessors an injustice.

What's so fun about that?

Exactly, you hit the nail on the head there, whats fun about a movie that manages to ruin a whole trilogy?

1. V for Vendetta

2. Superman returns

188899999. X-Men 3

^ha ha I agree on the X3 placing, but would put SR just slightly above the also excellent V.

So V has moved into the lead, surprising, i didnt think many people saw it.

they all sucked but if I had to pick I would say Superman Returns

As much as I love the X-movies, & despite being a lifelong Marvel fan, this year's best was V.

General public...maybe. As far as these boards go...you'd be hard pressed to find someone that didn't.
It deserves first place. 2006 was a bit of a let down. I had high hopes for SR, but it felt unsatisfying and empty, and amplify that times 20 for X3. V was the one shining, bright spot.

I thought SR was slightly better than V, but V was amazing. X3 was garbage IMO.

I got quite bored watchin all of them...maybe I need to rewatch V and SR.....

^Well i have found that both are movies that get better on repeat viewings, so give them a try.

I had a feeling you'd vote that Spoarz, your one of the enlightened like me.

Superman Returns was the best since it ruled.
V for Vendetta was the lamest adaptation I have ever seen.
No wonder Alan Moore wanted nothing to do w/ it.
I laughed at how crap it was compared to the amazing book.

To quote AM himself he said of the film it had- "plot holes so big, you wouldn't have gotten away with it in Whizzer and Chips," Indeed.

Crapola.
Lapped up primarily by noobs who had never even heard of V for Vendetta before the studio hype machine started rollin.

^Ah well i never read the book so i loved V, it was far better than X3 at least!

X-Men 3 isnt as bad as everyone makes out. If you hate it a lot you probably havent seen it in a while and I advice you see it again. I do think that the average Joe likes X-Men 3 over the other 2, mainly because it has loads of special effects and the 'fun' factor. Also because its the 3rd film in a franchise.

I saw V for Vendetta in the cinema and have just bought it on DVD today and I look forward to seeing it again.

Superman didnt appeal to me so I didnt see it.
