    Which quote best sums up the trilogy for you of Nolans Batman universe and will be the one you remember the most?

    (Please leave your quote below if its not on the list, I tried to list as many of the significant ones I could think of/remember/find on the net!!)

    This quote really epitomizes the whole trilogy to me, so I voted for this one.

    I was hoping "What? They don't like falafel?" would appear...

    I've always liked "Why do we fall?" I was sad it wasn't used in TDKR.

    I voted for Ducard's legend quote. I'm also wondering why Gordon's quote at the end of TDK wasn't included in the poll.

    When I saw the thread title, I thought it'd be an easy enough decision, then I saw the options. :o

    So many brilliant and worthy lines, lines that tell you a story in a sentence. Couldn't possibly choose one over another.

    Really love this quote. The first time I heard it, I almost teared up.

    I think "You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain" is something that applies throughout the franchise and thus, is perhaps the "best" quote of the trilogy.

    It's line that applies to Dent, Bruce, Gordon and even Bane.

    There is a very brief flasback of that when Bruce is in the prison after his final failed attempt to climb out.

    I think it makes it even better that its Batman's last line in the entire trilogy.

    For me, the quote that ties all 3 films together is:

    "People need dramatic examples to shake them out of apathy and I can't do that as Bruce Wayne. . . as a man I'm flesh and blood - I can be ignored, I can be destroyed - but as a symbol, as a symbol I can be incorruptible. . . I can be everlasting."
