As most of you probably know, Heath was filming Terry Gilliam's "The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus" at the time of his death. Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Colin Farrell stepped in to complete Heath's role, playing different versions of his character "Tim."
When the three actors learned that Ledger's will had not been updated to include his daughter, the generous trio decided to donate all the money they earned from the film to little Matilda!
Everything between and including the blue flaming Bat and the end credits...
More percisely I really loved the interrogation scene, the whole hospital sequence, the opening scene, Batman having to choose between Rachel/Dent and that entire suspenseful sequence, Joker's attack on the Wayne party, the mid-movie chase with the birth of the bat-pod and the showdown between Joker and Batman, any scene with Michael Caine, Fox talking to Batman about the morality of the sonar device, and the entire ending from when Gordon arrives to find Two-Face.
I just really liked the whole movie, it's subtexts, its pacing, its acting, characterization, writing, moral ambiguity and thoughtfulness of material. Brilliant.
Unfortunately the impact it's had on me is that I have great difficulty watching tv, reading, listening to music because nothing compares.
Everything in this epic film from the Opening main Title to The Ending Credits .
I'm overjoy at the fact that despite the fact Their were multiple Villains & Key players in the film that Batman presence was still present in the scene that Ledger was in as The Joker in which he was Incredible . Nolan managed to still make sure No one stole Batman's thunder . Something Burton failed at in his 89 film of Batman IMO . I'm also Glad Two-Face/ Harvey Dent & James Gordon were finally given some proper Justice in the batman films .
