Where has it said that he's defecting? Besides, the solicitation for February says a lot about reassessing Xavier's dream and whether anyone's safe in a "world without the X-Men."

I guess I'm kind of assuming that he's leaving considering that he's joining another team at the dissolution of another one.

I have been really enjoying MC i have been trying to get back into X-men for a while i was only following New X-men and astonishing oh and X-factor here and there. BUt MC is a thoroughly good time....well maybe not for the x-men.

I will admit that i am a bit intrigued by the anime

The comic isn't great. It's not terrible, but the art is usually mediocre now and the writing by Jerwa doesn't even come close to comparing to the writing by Oeming and Jerwa. Jerwa did use Methos in this last arc, though, so that earns him points. I loved the majority of the second through the fifth seasons of the TV show, and Methos kicked seventeen kinds of ass straight through those. I love that character.

Oeming writes that book? Huh. He needs to write something decent so I can read it.

No, Oeming doesn't write it anymore. That's why it's not as good as it was in the beginning. It also somehow became a lot more about Duncan than Connor. I like Duncan and all, but the guy had six seasons of television devoted to him while Connor is mostly still an enigma, especially since 3/4ths of his movies have been retconned out of canon.

Yeah, I'll pass for now. I am looking forward to Dynamite's new Zorro series, though. That will kick ass.
