Well my heart is still racing! But I think I'll be okay, tonight's finale is still sinking in.

Anyone else notice Marie was wearing beige instead of purple in her scene?

Someone just brought this up to me in another forum: One of the only characters who was supposed to die in season 1 lived to make it to the end.

I think Jesse drove straight to the set of Need For Speed at the end.

yeah *****!!!!

Your second point is absolutely on point. For Walter, it's all of the above. Good thoughts.

 In the end, Walter was very much two men. There was Walter White and there was Heisenberg. Walter died protecting his surrogate son. Heisenberg died protecting his legacy. So much of the show has been about how Walter's dual personas cannot co-exist, but in the end, their goal was the same, even if they had differing motivations.

It was about protecting his legacy and getting payback on the Nazi's and Jesse, but after seeing what they had done to Jesse, it became about protecting Jesse as well.

If Walt really hated Jesse, he would've let him die too.

Hell, Walt only got shot because he threw Jesse to the ground.

If Jesse were there, Walt would've had to share his glory. Just as he had to share Grey Matter.

Ya know... If you think was a bit neat that's fine. I disagree though. It wasn't ALL a part of Walt's plan. He didn't plan to die. He didn't plan to save Jesse. If anything he was going there to kill him too.

Guess I got what I deserve
Kept you waiting there, too long my love
All that time, without a word
Didn’t know you’d think, that I’d forget, or I’d regret
The special love I have for you

Goodbye Walter White. :(

I don't love the finale as much as some, I don't hate it. I'm wrestling with it, and that's healthy.

i was thinking the whole time that they were throwing us off with the ricin in the stevia then turned out real

Not everybody has to share the same opinion. If you like it, that's great, if you don't like it, that's great.

And Gilligan said it would be polarizing. Then again, every series finale is polarizing so it's nothing new.

Dexter's finale was a complete slap in the face to the fans

damn! what an ending

my head was all over the place, but i LOVED it

For the record, I couldn't help but think it was a little too neat too, BUT I still felt it was an amazing conclusion and I'm glad Gilligan didn't choose to go all "Artsy fartsy" with it and let the audience interpret the ending and all that bullcrap that so many shows like to do these days. **** that. Give us an ENDING. Gilligan gave us an end to this story like any good book should do.

And I just finished it.:csad: Loved it, and I'm so sad to see it go. Now, I only started the show a little over a month ago, so I haven't been on the ride as long as some of you guys, but I feel so much loss now for the show. What a great ending.

Hell yeah. Every arc was perfectly ended in ways that make sense.

Yes!! And I'm looking on my FB timeline right now and while some people thought it was too happy an ending, it wasn't cliched and it gave us an amazing ending.
