I love Lydia, she's becoming almost the comedic relief right now.

She ****ed with Walt Jr's breakfast. The ***** is dead.
:hehe:

Loved the birthday bacon callback to the first episode of the season.

Not to mention it marks that a year from now (show wise) we will be seeing Walt with hair and a beard.

Y'know, another cool thing about that is I saw the symbol for "Omega" in the bacon and I didn't realize it was a 52 'til later. :o

And a fake name/lots and lots of money to waste. :O

As a sidenote, do you think it might be a bit implausible that all 5 seasons have occured within the span of a year? From getting diagnosed to all of the meth business, to being recruited by Gus till the end of that, to being in remission to today? I could see that within 2 years but a year doesn't feel that slow

The episodes usually take place over a day. So as long as they don't go over 360-ish episodes beforehand it's believable. They just have much more eventful lives than most real people.

The only thing that doesn't match is the age of Junior, but everything else works just fine.

Walt was really scary after Skyler told him off. Those shots of his head and then how he walked back to Skyler after reaching a dark spot in the hallway. I thought he was going to hit her.

Vulture.com actually did the math and the end of season three had covered 31 weeks since the pilot. So with 13 episodes of season four and 3.5 episodes of season five, that should cover another 22 weeks. They broke it down by each episode.

Now the recovery time of Hank, Walt and Jesse from various things may be fudged a bit and certainly everyone looks 5 years older but it seems to be plausible that it has been one year.

as long as walt controls skyler, nothing will happen. he knows that she wont do anything stupid, going to the dea or anything else. but I cant wait to know who will go up against walt...

This episode, the bedroom scene I swear when Walt went offensive, just shredding up any of Skyler's proposal, there was nothing she could do about it but admit that Walt have the upper hand...but then she pulled the cancer line to show that she didn't give up and that she's been waiting for the right moment I got chills, also when she uses the "I thought YOU were the danger?" jab. A fine example of an episode where the domestic life is the focus but it never was less compelling as the episodes with the meth business and the crazy **** happening.

Man, just 4 episodes left.

There's been such a dark undercurrent this season... every episode that goes by and things don't go completely sideways, I feel like when things do go bad, they're going to go all the way bad.

I think they poked fun of that fact when Walt was saying all the events that have happened and then said "Seems hard to believe it all happened in only one year"

I noticed that too, that was a nice little breaking the 4th wall line.

Another very strong episode. I like how, even though nothing truly "explosive" happens, you're glued to the screen by the performances, the subtle dialogue exchanges. It's amazing.

On a side note, Jesse is so underused this season so far.

Everyone's caught in Walt's web at the moment, the only one really resisting is Mike and as of this episode Skylar. I'm fully expecting some serious Jesse moments when **** hits the fan.

I dunno, I'm kinda sad that they split this season up like this. It really feels too short for "one season". They should've given us all 16 episodes, or just went ahead and did two more proper seasons.

Originally AMC wanted the WHOLE season to just be 6-8 episodes, so I'm just grateful we're getting 16 and I'll take them any way I can get them.

Another terrific episode. Btw, when is Amc planning to air the second half of the season?

I don't think I could handle 16 straight weeks of this show hahah. I'd rather have two full seasons though, but I kind of like how the limited episodes are gonna force them to keep it tight.

I hate AMC. I wonder what their next breakout show is going to be when Breaking Bad is gone.

Isnt it obvious, "SMALL TOWN SECURITY"!!!

I'm hoping the last episode of "Breaking Bad" ends with the group from "Small Town Security" getting a call to check out a house that Walt's cooking in, then they take him down with deadly force.
