I've seen the no fun complaint in two reviews now, but I don't really get it. I love Man Of Steel but was it fun? No ! Not fan in the Marvel way, because it's not that type of film. I don't really get it, this is darker, more serious, there doesn't HAVE to be humor (even though those who saw it here say there's some of it) all the time, the character don't have to throw one liners all the time.

It's like playing it dramatically is considered a mistake. What?

For anyone who thinks this won't affect JL, you're insane. If the negative reviews keep coming in, and WoM for this is terrible, you can say bye to any chance of this hitting 1B. And yes, WB will consider that a disappointment. This is gonna affect the greater DCEU.

As an aside, I still think it was a mistake to put Snyder in charge of the DECU.

1) the film's succes is dependent on box office reviews
2) make you're own mind up and actually watch the film

I saw TFA and thought it was trash.

I haven't even fully watched the Star Wars series and came in to watch the original trilogy then the premier of TFA.

After the movie I couldn't help but think why people love TFA/SW so much, it wasn't even all that and critics really loved TFA? I thought it was a garbage copy paste of one of the 90s Star Wars movie.

Action was eh, Light Saber battle with Rey was eh and dumb cheesy one liners made me get goose bumps thats how cringy they were.

You're more than welcome to that opinion, but it's an objective fact that TFA was very well-received with critic's, and the general public.

On the joyless thing. Have no idea what this movie is like, but if I project back to Snyder other films, I can understand what they might be saying. Snyder tries to add weight to his films by trying to make it "feel" important instead of making the film that way in the first place. It is why his last few films have been exposition heavy, with a lot of dialogue intended to sound profound.
