Chapter 6: "The Line" Discussion 10/29/07

That's...actually pretty funny coming from a guy named gtkilla.

:D

Actually, I just didn't find HRG shooting that guy all that 'badass'. =/ I thought it was pretty dumb, tbh..:o

It looks like Hiro is responsible for starting the evil company due to that betrayal
Llllindermannn. :yay: Someone's theory that this is Kensei's true identity may have some truth to it after all.

I thought it was obvious that it was the virus that's the new threat.

At first I thought Peter was supposed to be in a dream, but no... just sucky green screen.

I thought that it kinda looked like Suresh in the painting, firing the gun.

Adam Monroe is:
Kensei. It was explained in a spoiler, and will be revealed in a few episodes.

So...
-Virus breaks out, mass infection.

EEW.

You always talk in absolutes and jump to conclusions based on incredibly small amounts of evidence, ya know that? Maybe you wouldn't be so continually disappointed and pissy if you stopped doing that, ya know?

Or if the show actually started delievering. Really, do we need to see Claire and cheesey-line of the week guy get revenge on a cheer leader? Or Maya get into yet another sticky situation that her powers gets her out of? I mean, seriously. That has to be about the fifth time this season she was captured and her powers got her out of it.

Maybe you are just being apologetic. There is nothing wrong with pointing out a flaw when it is there. It doesn't make me any less of a fan than you because I can see what is wrong.

Hmm...wow. Quite the ending and preview.

It clearly seems that Maya's power is what wiped out "93 % of the population". So is that what the big arc of this season is going to be? Sylar gets a new power that can cause mass destruction and they have to stop it? If so, major disappointment.

May powers? Why do say Maya's powers? Because she heading to NY?
I think it has moreso to do with the virus/testing the company and Mohinder are working on....

WOOOOT HRG for the win...shoot that sucka, gangsta!!!
But in all seriousness, I hope the next episode is good, but if not people might just see it as a darker version of last year's plot.

And this is the first time she left people to die

You weren't pointing out flaws in that post I quoted. You were jumping to conclusions based on little to no evidence that has nothing to do with what you just talked about. You want to complain about things you don't like on the screen so far, fine, but don't act like you know what's going to happen in future episodes.

HRG rocked it tonight. O man, he better not die. (Though he said that the Mr Nakamura painting was the first and his was the last in the set - I think? - so at least I think he is safe for a while....)

I hate West. I like Monica. I love Sylar - I think he's gotten more evil.

Mohinder is really pissing me off right now. I know he's not a badarse secret agent like HRG, but, seriously, dude, improvise - you can't call HRG every week whining about all your problems.

Right now it is feeling like a repeat of last season with tweaked circumstances and a different power that will cause a major catastrophe.
Yeah...this is sorta redundant :csad:

I think this is all necessary to show that she is putting all her trust into him and not HRG and then she gets betrayed by flying kid because he works for the company and because of this it may get HRG killed, just my theory.

WhigiGgf GitkNs Tjsphd Rohtlks?! :wow:

SYSTEM REBOOT - SPEECH FUNCTIONS REPAIRED

WHAT. JUST. HAPPENED?! :wow:

I...Peter...paintings...Noah...NYC...Kensei...

I...I...I can't seem to form sentences. Pardon me. :wow:

Next week has awesome written all over it.

I hope so, other wise I may just wait for the DVDs again. This show is tedious to watch and I am beginning to question why I am. For one or two good storylines a week while sitting through 3 or 4 crappy ones? And I am really sick of hearing "Its building up! be patient!". Episode 6, meaning that we are AT LEAST a quarter of the way through this season (and that is assuming it has a very generous, 24 episodes) and so far nothing. We saw Claire get revenge on a cheer leader and Hiro mope over a girl in feudal Japan. I mean, it gets to the point of do I really want to devote each week to watching the the incredibly slow build up to one or two good episodes per season or just read recaps on Wikipedia and watch the season finale? It seems like it would have the same effect.

People get really impatient with the show. Not every character has to be wrapped up in the major arc of the season at this point.

so far, this season is in a major sophomore slump. they should put claire's storyline on ice or wrap it up in one episode. boring as hell and redundant. maya and what's his face? boring. HRG? boring. it's just doesn't have the same rhythm as last year.

But come on, you let one or two boring parts of an episode ruin the show for you?
