Working on how to do that with my brother as we speak; the pain in the ass about doing a moving caption is that you can't do it in photoshop or premiere. Maybe if there's a way I can export it though..... *ponders* Which No soup is better: the one with Elaine or the first time with George?

As for making the gif, you can open a lot of movie files in Imageready and then save it as a gif.

True, but i noticed it more with 5. The complete turn about with the 'sneak' story line killed it for me. I also saw 5 in 3D and HATED it. Ruined the whole movie.

I'd argue 5 was definitely included in the butchery. Longest book, shortest movie? (with the caveat that 7.2 was shorter, but was half of a movie, so to speak) 5 essentially eliminated every subplot. Quidditch wasn't even in the movie, and Ron's making the team gets pushed back to the 6th movie. No Hermione and Ron becoming prefects, either. Just emo Harry.

You know what though, it least it stayed closer to what the book was and adapted what they could with the time frame they had: so in any case, why the movie is rushed and changed here and there is WB's fault, not Yates. I agree though, I wish the sneak was brought into the spectrum a bit more; but at the same time, if they brought Dobby into the Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix instead of Neville (I liked that though at the same time) like they should have and added the whole S.P.E.W. thing as well, I think WB would have gotten the picture earlier and would have given the director more time for HP5.

And I'm with you honestly because I'm pissed that the LONGEST book of the series felt like the shortest one on screen.
