Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Chloe Bennet IS Skye

Yes, plus Medusa isn't a villain and Raina looks NOTHING like her. Skye looks nothing like Crystal for that matter. I doubt that Marvel will want to introduce two of the biggest-named Inhumans on this show. IF they do turn out to be Inhumans, then they'll probably be more obscure ones from the comics, or just brand-new ones made up for the show.

Yeah that's what's I'm thinking as well .

IGN: [Laughs] Okay, okay. We also now see that Skye’s father is alive. Would this be something we could assume, based on that reveal, would be tackled pretty early on going forward?

Loeb: That’s certainly one of the ongoing stories that we'll talking about -- her origins and her parents and things like that... Here's what we're pretty sure of: when people hear the story, they'll be surprised.

Skye's dad....evolution...

Jonathan Drew, High Evolutionary.

Herbert Wyndham is the High Evolutionary. Jonathan Drew was his partner. :cwink: But it's a good theory, and I wouldn't be surprised if there's some substance to it. It would definitely dovetail nicely with Wanda & Pietro's story, since Magneto obviously can't be part of that in the MCU.

Inhumans are a strong possibility, too, but like Loki882, I don't think there's a chance in hell that either Skye or Raina are meant to be major Inhumans like Crystal or Medusa. If they *are* Inhumans or at least some kind of hybrids, they'll probably wind up being original to the MCU, not based on actual comic book characters.

Meh, wish we got some sort of major revelation with Skye or something more than all this vague stuff we got in the last few episodes. Oh well.

Why is everyone so sure about Inhumans?

Everyone was SURE Clairvoyant had to be someone like MODOK or The Leader. Instead it was just a ploy by Garrett.

I think biggest hint about Skye's dad was given when Raina said 'I know u thought you'll never see me again'

Unless we already know the guy from AoS (mention or appearance o smth else) it wouldnt be make sense for her to say that. its obvious they want us to know she already knows the guy, has met him before

Something tells me Aldrich Killian from Iron Man 3 is involved somehow in all this.

Is Scorch old enough?

or Professor Hall?

Yes it would. She could have met him before she was introduced on the show, or in-between episodes.

I'm sure the implication is that this guy is someone we've already seen in Season 1, too.

But here's a different possible interpretation of "I know you thought you'd never see me again...." Perhaps because the guy died and was just now resurrected (via GH325, probably), with the implication being he didn't think he'd see her again because he wasn't sure the resurrection would work.

It's not Nash.

Quinn and Raina were in the room, and we know they had the gravitonium...I would say the man was Dr. Hall recovering from his Gravitonium nap but he wasn't a "monster"

Didn't say it was, even though you know full well that's my story and I'm sticking to it. But what I was getting at was that it probably *is* someone from Season 1, or else why the secrecy? If it's a new guy, you don't need subterfuge, you need a proper introduction.

So you don't think it's Nash, I get that, fine. Who, from the first season, do *you* think would fit the bill?

They may not have cast the man yet and is why they took this route.

They could be using secrecy if the character hasn't been properly cast, similar to Norman Osborn in the first Amazing Spider-Man.

Going by this answer to question about Skye

' That’s certainly one of the ongoing stories that we'll talking about -- her origins and her parents and things like that... Here's what we're pretty sure of: when people hear the story, they'll be surprised'

I know at least i wont be suprised if its new character created for the show but i would be suprised if its someone already well known

Any suggestion of Inhumans would IMHO provide too much of a distraction to the "SHIELD" story arc - you need only view the "Yes Men" episode, with only 2x Asgardians who commanded each scene they were in.
As head of the Centipede project Raina travelled the world in search of metahumans and one can readily assume she did so beforehand - encountering [BLACKOUT]Mr Hyde?[/BLACKOUT] previously.
I consider Skye to be [BLACKOUT]a re-interpretation of Daisy Johnson[/BLACKOUT]

I'm pretty solid in my belief now that Skye and Flowers are Inhumans. Flowers question to Garrett "of what will I become" and his talk of "through the mists" sealed it for me.

How about Skyes Father is Calvin Zabo (Mr Hyde) and she may really be Daisy Johnson (Quake)?

Just a theory (That may be totally out there but hey....)

Someone did say it... So I'm not that out there...

Not really sold on the whole Inhumans theory at all. Marvel seems a bit too reluctant to introduce a concept as big as that in a tv show, especially when they've expressed interest in turning that into a movie franchise. They seemed to be fairly skittish as to which characters they're willing to introduce t the small screen which is why we get D listers like Blackout or Scorch. But Mr Hyde is just obscure enough to work here, which is why I'm all aboard the Skye is Quake train.

I believe that the show will do with the Inhumans story what it did with the Hydra story...hint around at it, give us background, but leave the heavy lifting for the movies. That means that they can talk about the alien and genetic manipulation etc, but not actually introduce any of the main Inhumans. That would mean that it would be a case where any super-powered character could be used as a result of that long ago manipulation. In my opinion (at the moment), Daisy Johnson and Mister Hyde are the best picks, since they fit the general descriptions, have no business ever being in a movie, and their powers can exist on a tv budget.

Here's my problem with Skye being Quake
As an infant the agents that picked her up got burn marks!
This implies her powers leave either acid burns or are flame/plasma related.

Question:
Was Garrett there when she was an infant, was that how he got his burn marks?

Wait...touching her skin burned them? Like...they were specifically burned by contact with her skin, and not possibly by fire or by the monsters or anything else? If that is a detail then I've forgotten it.
