A desaturated red-ish hue. Maybe have the film set in the summer time.

I hope they go with a darker, black and white look to the film, like Batman Returns.

So we've had a brownish orangy tint in Batman: Begins...And a blueish hue coming from The Dark Knight so far in this series...

...Any suggestions for a colour scheme for a third film...Or any preferable colours to be used...As well, to go along with any suggestion/preference an explanation for what is stated would be nice so...Shoot away...:woot:

How about this

?, I saw Lobster Charlie's suggestion in his post and thought about it. With The Riddler being the main villain for this "Batman 3", I made a few calculations on my Photoshop. I made this color tone icon. Gave it a blue-ish and green-ish look to it. What do you all think?

Blue/Green like in the first Matrix could look cool.

To be honest there...I don't really see any blue in it...If The Riddler was the main villain...It might be alright...I like the top part better...Just because it's darker...Not bad.

And welcome to the Hype Live-ActionMan!:woot:

I like the top part better as well. I made it shaded to show you guys what the color scheme I would imagine for "Batman 3" would look like in this 100x100 pixeled icon I made on Photoshop. Thanks for that nice, warm welcome to this lovely asylum (just kidding, I meant to say "boards"), Ziggyman!

^I think the colour of your signature would be nice...It's green right...This place just might be...An asylum after all!

...Your welcome...

Just keep the same color scheme. No need to change it and make the movie feel different

I agree. I really like the blueish hue color scheme they have used for TDK, it reminds me of 1970's Batman comic books.

Honestly, I didn't notice a tint in this movie. In the promo material, sure. But in the film itself, not so much.

The brown in Begins is mostly from the interiors, too. And the underground chase (due to the lights... which is why its the same in this movie)

Eh, not like Matrix heavy tint, but I see what he is getting at w/ it.

I could see the Green thing working if it's Riddler.

The Color Scheme has never gone with the villains for this film so Green wouldn't make since for the sequel. I'd like to have a red or grayish.

But they've already changed it. BB and TDK had very different color schemes. So in a way, not changing would make it different.

I like the idea of the colors representing Dusk, Night, and Dawn. Not sure which color would be represent the dawn, without being too bright. Maybe red?

If you don't like red (which I think is fine because it can go with Two-Face and somewhat Bane and maybe Talia al Ghul), sometimes you get mornings that almost look purple, or the rain can make it very gray. (Good choices for Catwoman, Black Mask, Penguin, Hush, Bane).

pardon me if there is already a thread out there for this, and i know it's a picky topic.. but you can't help but notice the difference in tone and mood the colors made in both films. In Batman Begins it was the orange/sepia color that dominated the film. In TDK it was predominately blue right from the opening logos. Should it stay that way? In begins the dark orange worked in the Batman's favor and in TDK the color blue was probably inserted by Nolan to present Gotham as a cold setting as the worst has yet to come. In the next one, what tone might Nolan use? I really can't think of any other color(s) working besides orange or blue, but I doubt he'd want to use those again.

Black/dark-blue... for Batman and his current situation. And, if Catwoman comes along... latex.

Forget what I said, Dark Red is fine. I wanna see a Batman who bleeds.... a lot :)
