As a non essential government worker, I hope he never gets elected....unless I win the lotto or something, then he'd be an awesome president. Just as long as my meager livelihood wouldn't be threatened.

For what it's worth, the Johnson/Gray ticket has pledge to run again in 2016 under the LP. 4 years of planning, money, will hopefully go a long way.

Well, that happens when Govt gets too big...people lose jobs, and the govt is too big. Sucks, but it's the truth. Under Obama/Romney Govt is only gonna get bigger...and likely war with Iran.

I confess I am genuinely upset and angry I didn't get the job I applied for. Had a great phone interview and I KNOW I would be good at the job... even amazing at it, I just needed a chance. I showed so much enthusiasm, even rattled off the history of this company but no. Not happy. now my plans are messed up.

I also confess I'm tempted to email back the guy was there any particular reason I wasn't selected or If there is anything I can work on...

Better leave it alone though.

I confess that I went to an interview for a seasonal position at Macy's earlier today, and based on how it seemed like most people were being hired on the spot, I don't think I got the job since they said they would call me back. This all makes me wonder, how the hell did my stepdad's daughter get a permanent job there when she doesn't even know English and had only lived in the US for about a month when she got the job.

I confess that I am very fascinated by history, particularly American History from the Civil War to World War II. I've been watching "The Men Who Built America" on the History Channel and it really makes me wish I paid attention more in high school, or at least had more interesting teachers.

The country's more recent economic struggles make me question whether a laissez faire system is really feasible.

I think the government probably does have to monitor/control the economy, but the important thing is that the government should stay small, and not actually receive or redistribute much money itself.

I don't really know what I can do about it. It's not like I can Email him demanding a job. I just really find it annoying because I sent in my CV 7 times for that job with a huge cover letter begging for it. Had an amazing phone interview then the rejection email. brilliant.
