Confession is good for the Hype. - - - - - - Part 15

In my case, it's not the other person... but rather: I'm comfortable talking about it aloud. And that's it.

The topic? Everything: sex, period/s, relationships, self-love, scary health issues or worries, really everything. Well, except politics.

But one must learn to read the room and stop the conversation if the other person is getting uncomfortable with the topic.
Maybe I just never got uncomfortable. :funny:

I think I might have told you this before, but when I was at the University of California, I took these classes in Swedish Massage. One of the things I learned was that there are pressure points that will help relieve menstrual cramps. There are a couple of them that I know of. One is on the inside of the leg and a little bit below the knee and the other is below the ankle on the inside part of your foot. It takes a little bit, but it really works. The dorms I lived in were coed and it wasn't unusual to get a knock on my door and, when I opened it, see someone who had their face kind of scrunched up and/or holding their tummy. I'd be like "okay, come on in". Sometimes people would actually come up to me and say "Can you really help people with cramps?". I guess word got around. :funny:

So, I guess it isn't surprising that people were comfortable talking to me about all kinds of things. When I look back, it was really just friends talking to friends and helping each other out. When I needed to talk to someone, there were always plenty of options and people who wanted to help.

You know I adore the heck out of you... but being the campus' masseuse??? That's "mental".

I find it closer to normal to talk about gory periods than to knock on someone's door to ask for anti-cramp massages.

But I'll take the advice in case I ever need to aggressively punch those pressure points.

Well, MAYBE they had ulterior motives. BWAHAHAHA!! Anyway, I wasn't the "campus" masseuse. Just our dorm's. Maybe like 300 or so people. We all ate in the same cafeteria, hung out in the quad (the grassy area outside the dorms where we'd have concerts) together, softball beer leagues, some hallway happy hours. So, you see, normal wasn't really part of our standard operating procedure.

And, be careful about the pressure points. It's probably?? better if you relax while it's getting done, but maybe you have a neighbor whose door you can knock on for help. :funny:

I havent spoken to them in decades, its not like we were that close and I dont know what we would talk about.
I've contacted people that I haven't seen for ages and sometimes they contact me. It usually starts with "So...what's been up?" Then you talk for a bit and maybe make a plan to get in touch....or not. If so, great. If not, fine.

I hate getting old. Front lawn done and I'm already winded as hell.

I caught my coworkers rolling joints at work last night. They were crowded around the table and blocked my view. When I asked what they were doing they said nothing. The smell of pot, very skunk, was strong.

No way I can tell anyone without it being obvious who told. There are worse things but it’s not great. It happened at the end of the night when everything was shut down.

Nothing makes me pass over baked Christmas pastries then if they are an assortment of Italian cookies.

Why? What's wrong with Italian cookies? For that matter, what kind of cookies are Italian?

Depends is this a supermarket bakery or a local one?
I can do a supermarket bakery. A lot of italian cookies are essentially shortbread cookies (which aren't my favorite), just with fruit, chocolate chips or dipped in fudge with sprinkles. Maybe good with coffee or tea but never appetizing to me.

curious to what your fave cookies are now since youre a cookie elitist.

This is my go to whenever I'm in Disney/Orlando area.

This is where I usually go around here in NJ.

I'll eat a Mrs. Fields or an Insomnia cookie on occasion.
