Thanks for the posting of the list. I've been kind of not around with other stuff going on recently. I'm going to try to get back into this thing now. Tonight, though, I'm seeing the sneak preview of Superman at 10:00 pm with my boy. Can't wait. Then, I'll have to look through my old Handbooks, see if anyone I never mentioned is in there. It looks as if you included all the potentials to the roster that's staying, we still don't have enough, huh?

Are you kidding me?! I LOVED that movie! I liked it the first time, and just watched it for the second time last night and liked it even more. As far as I'm concerned Shyamalan's hit 4 homeruns thus far! Can't wait to see his hopeful 5th with Lady in the Water.

I liked The Village too. I've like all of Shyamalan's movies. Not sure how I'd rank them, although Sixth Sense would be at the top.

I liked the Sixth Sense, and Signs was ok. Unbreakable was...meh, and I completely hated The Village.
It was a let down when you find out it's just the town ****** in the suit, but I shrugged my shoulders and went with it. When she's climbing the fence and you find out they're living in current times...that was all I could take.

Here's hoping that The Lady in the Water takes after Sixth Sense instead of The Village.

I find Unbreakable his greatest movie. One I first saw it in the theaters, I didn't know what it was even about. It took me awhile to realize I enjoyed it...plus, it didn't help that the person I was with really wasn't into superheroes and came away hating it. But, when I bought the DVD, I was able to really appreciate what a great movie it really is.

Now, with The Villiage, it was a complete disappointment.

You have plenty of potentials to go over and make a dicision on. Other than that, I think you all are pretty good.

So we have 114 spots to fill and 121 potentials (not including Eternals, since no specifics were brought up, and I'm not sure if they should be included yet)


Before we fill those though, I want to discuss the inclusion of the Silver Surfer. I know we voted to include him, and I think I may have been one to agree in that at the time, but the more I think about it I just really feel that he's too powerful for this tourney. He's passive, yes, and he's had his shares of defeat, but overall he's still easily more powerful than anyone else in this thing.

I'm suggesting that we take a second vote on whether we keep the character or not. We did the Cosmic section fairly early and were still feeling out the power levels we wanted, it's since then that I've decided that it was a mistake that he was allowed. Let me know what you guys think.

Also, if there's any other characters on that Keep list up there that you severely question, bring it up. Otherwise, as soon as we decide on Silver Surfer, we'll start filling spots with the potentials.

I'm still favorable to the Surfer.

I do think Shadow King should be dropped from the potentials list. He's pretty much unbeatable except by high level telepaths. He can't even be touched because he doesn't exist on this plane.
