Crowd Reports!

They kept saying it was completely sold out, but I saw 15-20 empty seats. It was pretty damn packed though.

I'm going tonight after work. Hopefully it'll be a pretty full house.

I'm at the AMC River East downtown Chicago now where they usually have a lot of the premieres, and the cashier told me most of the showings are sold out until 10pm tonight.

I went to the early bird showing and there was a good amount of people in there, but not packed. Mostly men, some bringing their girlfriends. Some were alone like me.

I may go see this tomorrow. I hope to God that if I do, it's not packed with the same brand of idiots who populated the theater when I went to see Transformers 2. I swear to God, they laughed hysterically at EVERY lame joke and cheered at every f**king explosion in that goddamned movie. I'm all for audiences having a good time, but there was nothing in that movie that earned those over-the-top reactions.

there was only one midnight show (which is NOTHING in my theater.. theres usually an average of 7-10) and my theater wasnt even sold out...

every one came out yelling at how bad it was... and laughing

Went to the early show(11am),there was a decent amount of ppl for this. Not sold out,but a decent amount, though I wouldn't susepect this being sold out that early in the morning.

The one I was in was pretty packed. I saw one at 4:10.

I'm going to a midnight showing tonight, so I'll be surprised if the theater is full. If it is a full house this late at night for a non-first screening, I'll be impressed.

I went to this at 3:30 because I got out of work early . I was suprised to see the theatre almost completely full.

I went to the 5:15 showing in Time Square, and the place was packed. I would say the reactions seemed really good. People were having some fun.

Second day and was sold out!! :D here in Peru we love the Joes**

I went to a midnight showing today, and since it was a Friday and the Thursday first-screening it wasn't as packed. The theater was about half full though, and the audience reacted positively to the movie, laughing and cheering where they were intended. I have no idea what kind of crowds are normally expected a second-day midnight showing since this is my first time at one, but the movie seemed like a hit with the audience to me.

Went to a 4pm showing. It was completely packed. Maybe 3 or 4 empty seats.

Went to the 10:15 am showing at AMC Easton 30 here in Columbus. They put us in one of the largest theaters and the theater was over half full, nice mix or men and women, kids. They were into the movie, didn't see many even leave to go to the bathroom.

The theater I went to at 4pm today was PACKED! I wasn't really expecting too many people to come because of all the bad buzz that had been going around about this movie. From what I could tell the audience was into it. And they clapped when Ripcord ejected out of the plane he was flying that the nanomites had destroyed. Is it me or did this movie have like a real "Star Wars" feel to it (the M.A.R.S. troopers, Doctor/CC look, the underwater ship battles, and Snake Eyes/Storm Shadow's duel)?

Surprisingly for a 1:30 showing on it's first Saturday the theatre was maybe half full.

Caught a matinee on Saturday and the theater was a little over half full. Reports are the Friday numbers are coming back decent with the weekend box office looking to be around 60 mil. I hope that estimate will be on low side.

We went to an early showing on Saturday which is usually quiet even for big movies and our theater was about half full.

The crowd really seemed to be into it. There was laughing and cheers at several moments.

Just came back from it, the theatre was close to full, a couple empty rows but they were up close. The people at my showing enjoyed it immensely, cheering and whooping when Ripcord got the Scarlett kiss, when Snake Eyes did his thing, etc. These types of movies are critic proof.

I went to a 9:20 screening and it was almost full. Generally, the audience seemed to be into it especially during the action scenes. Only half the jokes were laughed at, and there were about five people who kept trying to clap and start an applause at each time the bad guys lost, but everyone ignored them...I buried my face in my shirt and lol'ed hard. XD

Towards the end, half the theatre had left already. They didn't even wait for that bonus scene with the Pres. lmao
