500m OS is not happening, so TASM2 gets at least one accolade.

500 Million Overseas Is as unlikely as DOFP topping Last stand Domesticly.

Still considering DOFP's stronger domestic numbers it could get around what Spider-man did WW.

It made about $19M OS this past week with about $2M from China. Not sure how much of that is from Venezuela but to make it easy I'll just say $2M meaning a decrease of around 50%. If that same rate holds that means its finishing with $490M without Venezuela. Gonna be real close to $500M.

I'm pretty sure DOFP is gonna beat Cap2 WW fairly easy with $720M+

477 overseas is just a small increase from last week :( I was hoping for more than 480, but I doubt the movie gets +23m just with Venezuela and the few money it'll make in its last days/weeks overseas

I had to go to another city near where I live to watch it for the fifth time. It's showing there one session only; I arrived one hour earlier and it was already sold out - and it's not a small theater. I begged and managed to get a ticket, although I don't really know how, lol.

The film definitely has legs in Brazil. If not for the World Cup (many sessions have been canceled because of the Brazilian team matches) and the small number of theaters in small/medium cities + A LOT of blockbusters being released all at the same time, it would have been huge. As it is, I think we have nice numbers here.

I think $500M is still in play because of Venezuela.

It's not small, it's good for the stage that the film is in. Almost end of run in most countries, and its a sub 50% drop.

Not small. It's good enough.

well, in Mexico Spiderman2 has done better, and if China would keep the movie, it would do at least 2-3m more. Germany, Spain and Italy have had worse numbers than past movies, so these countries could have helped a bit more too. In any case, lets hope Venezuela adds at least 10m

Spider-Man is a bigger name in many countries, not surprising that he would do better in some. It has already surpassed X3 in Germany and Italy. Spain remains to be seen since it's on its third weekend only. Not all countries will experience the same growth over the years.

It's only 8 million behind Last Stand... I wouldn't count it out just yet.

So our last hope is its sales next week right? I'm still waiting for an update tomorrow. I hope it will reach 700 million+ so that we will be certain that this movie will outgross the winter soldier's movie.

Transformers is releasing in many territories in July I believe, so it won't kill DOFP overseas just yet.

Almost 700,000,000 WW! :D Now I kinda want to see it beat $500,000,000 Foreign and $234,362,462 Domestically, but that might be too much to ask. Still, solid results. Get the ink ready Bryan!

From Boxoffice.com:

X-Men: Days of Future Past reeled in another $11.3 million from 47 markets, including Venezuela's $1.7 million first place debut (just 2 percent behind Iron Man 3). Holdover markets Brazil ($1.3m, down only 34%), and the UK ($981K, down only 35%) lift the international cume to an impressive $477.3m. The global total is now $694.3 million.

1.7 million in Venezuela. By comparison, TWS opened to 1.3 million, and ASM2 opened to 1.5m.

What is important is the worldwide gross sales.

From boxofficemojo.com:

X-Men: Days of Future Past crossed $690 million worldwide this weekend. By this time next week, it will be well past $700 million, and it will soon become the highest-grossing movie of 2014 ahead of Captain America: The Winter Soldier ($711 million).

Probably. But I think Maleficent will beat xdofp.
