I have never seen a Transformers movie in theaters and I have never paid to see it on DVD. For some reason I have subjected myself to them on DVD, the second one crushed my soul.

My prediction for this year's superhero movie box office ranking was off. I thought it was gonna be this way:
1. Spidey 900mil (300-600)
2. X-Men 700mil (250-550)
3. Cap 600 mil (200-400)

For me, Spidey definitely disappointed, X-Men matched expectations, and Cap exceeded expectations.

And I'm allowed to have my opinion to the movie I just saw.

And there's just certain movies that I will watch even if they are bad. Transformers/Resident Evil are some of those films most because I want to see the characters. But this is really the 1st time I went to theater to see a movie and that I thought the movie was really bad.

I hate the movies but I definitely don't begrudge the billion dollars worth of people who love them. Not every film is or should be made for my enjoyment.

I certainly feel that way about Twilight or the Fast movies. Just not my cup of tea, but happy for those who enjoy and love them.


Transformers is just not fit for human consumption.

After 4 films the only thing the GA will figure out is that this is still one of their favorite franchises, and that critics don't matter at all in the grand scheme here. It got an A- Cinemascore as did the last. They like these films. That 0 is followed by a 10 on the SHH poll. It's love and hate with fanboys, but the GA brings the love every single time.

Well...damned Homo sapiens. Clearly the folk here are more evolved.

I still think this Michael Bay will plummet like a rock next week...and at a rate surpassing 65%...maybe even 70...

You really overshot Xmen and TWS domestic predictions

Mine were

TWS 210/450- 660

ASM- 260/500- 760

DOFP- 200/500 700m

I overshot spiderman domestic big time but if it were a really good movie I think I would have been close

I figured TWS would do about Thor 2s numbers

It's impossible for it to beat Cap TWS and not TLS as TWS is higher than TLS.

DoFP may outgrows Cap WW, but it must do more than 256M to outgross Cap domestically.

I mean worldwide gross between XDoFP and Winter Soldier

DOFP gets WW
Cap2 gets Domestic
ASM2 gets Overseas

Everybody is happy.

And it doesn't take anything away from DoFP's tremendous performance WW and its very solid domestic numbers.

BOM has a 3 million estimation for weekend bringing DOFP to 223 Million Domesticly

Maleficent Is projected to 201 Million through weekend and will likely outgross DOFP
domesticly due to fact it remains in 5th place while DOFP Is in 9th place.That film Is holding up better than any expert predicted.

ASM2 Is estimated to finally hit 200 Million Domesticly this weekend.
