Previously they had Adjusted gross of X-Men as 232 million.I guess it has changed.

WOW. 739,5 mil WW now with 231,3 DOM & 508,2 OS AMAZING !
n59 All time and climbing! The Matrix Reloaded (742,1) is next ! i think thats a lock.
Monsters University (743,6) is within reach too probably. Hopefully it will finish behind The Chronicles of Narnia 1 (745 mil) for n57 of all time before Hunger Games 3 & Hobbit 3 hit theaters and XDoFP gets n59 again.

P.S. I remember a guy here (wont name him) who gave a sh***y review to this movie. Yes XDOFP is one of the best movies of 2014 according to a bogus site called Rotten Tomatoes and this guy not only review it for a crap movie but also was doubting XMENS ability to make FF6 numbers. "this movie is not doing FF6 numbers" -remember that mister X Hater ?

GUESS WHAT . IT DID. considering a non IMAX release it did. oh yes it did. (not to mention a WORST schedule/competition and the World Cup)

next time plz dont make your personal feelings a review. You may not like a movie thats normal and your prerogative but that doesnt change facts. Yes u didnt like it but YES ITS A VERY GOOD MOVIE even if u dont like it. Its arguably a very good movie and few will argue its a top 10 comic book movie. For me personally its top 5.

With only 387 theatres left it will a long way to beat and I think we probably won't make it. I'd love to be proven wrong though.

DOFP will soon hit discount theaters, so that should help to beat TLS

DOFP did less than projected. 395,000 under 400,000 It was projected to do.Still It has made 231 Million Domesticly.

It has done 739 Million Worldwide with 508 Overseas.

739 worldwide is a major coup for a franchise that was nearly dead a few years ago. I still think it'll eventually beat TLS in the domestic unadjusted number. I'm on the edge of my seat!

The daily comparison gap between LST and DoFP is now at about 2,05 mil.
By next weekend we are looking for a 1,75mil gap.

We ll see how it went on Monday.

I really hope we manage to beat TLS. Although im guessing a 233,75 mil finish

I think $233 million is a lock. Again, Fox should expand if they want this film to outgross X3 in North America.

Well if GOTG's midnight showing Is indication then DOFP may end up 5th film of summer behind transformers,Maleficent,Dawn of Planet of the Apes,and GOTG
and 7th film of 2014 before next Hungar games and final hobbit comes out.

Well at least it won't hurt so much as being beaten by low rated films like transformers and Maleficent even though I have no Intrest In GOTG.

The downside is this will cause some to renew their calls for sony and Fox to turn over there marvel rights to disney or fox and sony should make their films just like Disney/MS.Although that was part of problem with ASM2.

There's a difference between say Marvel and Fox versus Marvel and Sony.

X-Men has a diverse universe, there's been over 80 different X-Men members in the comics. Throw in that Fox has the FF. You'll never want on characters or stories.

Spider-Man is just Spider-Man which is why I think they are kinda boxed in their franchise.

It's looking more possibly GotG will match or go over DOFP.New updated projection posted at site that can't be named now has it for 90 Million over the weekend.Which would be on par DOFP's opening 3 days.

What's interesting is that it seems no matter the popularity of a Marvel character everyone is making around the same numbers this year. From Spidey to GOTG.

All Marvel characters kicked ass with audiences. And we still have one more this year...

I think it's precedence. I'll give MCU the benefit of the doubt until they come out with a X-Men: TLS or a Cars 2.

X-Men lost me after Wolverine Origins. With the First Class, the Wolverine and finally DOFP, I'll willing to temper expectations and brought me back.

There's been 3 FF movies (Yes even the Roger Corman one), and none of them have been any good. That's the difference.

You can't really compare FF to Guardians because the MCU has been consistent good. FF has been consistently...not good.

Maybe I dont and you could well be right, but I would consider them just trying to whip up an argument for arguments sake if they did say things such as that or just crazy or stupid or perhaps both, yeah I'm going to go with both.

GoTG success or otherwise has no baring on the X-men franchise in any capacity, it would be best to ignore any people that would suggest anything like that, just a waste of time and not going to change anything anyway.
