I think we're at the point where we just want to see the b***ard get caught.Don't know why but Dexter just doesn't feel as exciting as it used to.

decent premiere.
Nice seeing Aimee Garcia looking good, but that Quinn storyline...it's early but i wouldnt be surprised if it ends like all of Quinn's stories. it seems like itll fthe writers never learn
Because the case was "solved". Dexter made it look like Estrada and Maria had a shoot out and killed one another.......you did watch the last season yes?
Don't know why but Dexter just doesn't feel as exciting as it used to.
It's because it's 8 seasons in. It went through like..several generations of shows, and now faces fresher stuff like Game of Thrones.
I dunno how I feel about this. They didn't even mention that Laguerta was MURDERED not just all a sudden dead. Nobody suspects Dexter, that's ****ing ********. Why isn't Angel ripping the city apart to find her murderer? And omg Dexter is SUCH a piece of ****ing **** human being! Why the **** did he take Harrison with him?! Usually it wouldn't have bothered me but the entire time all I could think was "You profound *****ebag!!! How are you gonna take your son to a possible homicide AS IT COULD BE TAKING PLACE??!! Seriously, I want everyone to find out and I want Dexter ****ing crucified. Or sacrificed or something. He doesn't make it out alive, that's all I know. And I love the Vogel character so far, it makes a ton of sense that Harry and her could have been friends and that he went to her out of desperation for Dexter. What I didn't like much were the previews for the season. So... Vogel is gonna start preaching to Dexter about how he's "perfect" and how psychopaths have a purpose in this world? Sounds cool, but incredibly contrived at the same time. Deb was a highlight but again, how is nobody suspecting A DAMN THING?! Laguerta's suspicion should have been enough for Angel and Quinn both to become suspicious of him but nahh, him and Deb just happened to not be at his party while it happened. Come on now. I'm holding out hope that this will be great, some of the stuff with Vogel sounds good, we shall see.
Not so much the writers, but men like Quinn never learn. Quinn's various relationships are some of the most realistic aspects of this show.
Oh, and here's my theory: I think that doctor talked to Hannah in prison (she's part of her psycopath/sociopath 'job', after all) and that's how she knows about Dexter. Because I think Hannah knew about Harry, right?
I don't remember if he talked about Harry with her or not, but I would love this idea. It would make a lot more sense than this woman randomly being part of Harry's code all along without Dexter knowing.
I personally dont care how "realistic" it is. To me, and a lot of people, it's unnecessary and not interesting.
