Seriously. If they insist on making her the Black Canary (their emphasis), why not go all the way and give her the Canary Cry? It's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but still.

Exactly. It's no big deal, so just do it! You'll make more people happy rather than not doing it.

But then again, they could do it and just not want to reveal anything.


Or it can happen in time. I'm glad they're going to show that she's "rough around the edges". It's definitely much more believable and dare I say, more enjoyable to see a "hero" not be a perfect fighter.

But you know, I was watching AoS and noticed that Sky went from a computer nerd to a full blown agent between 2 seasons, I havent been keeping up with the fanbases reaction to it, but if she can do it, so can Laurel.

There are possibilities for Dinah Laurel as Black Canary - she could join Team Arrow, form the Justice Society with Ted Grant, form the Birds of Prey with Huntress and Katana, or crossover into the Flash if the Central City police need an attorney.

I love how the picture of Katie in her Black Canary’s outfit got more likes and comments than any of the Felicity/ Olicity ones. As a matter of fact I think it might be the most popular picture they ever posted on their official twitter and facebook…

AoS doesn't have such a strict time lapse as Arrow, plus Skye was trained by two super spy's across 18 months at the very least, Laurel has done a bit of boxing for maybe a month and suddenly she's going to be a full on vigilante. It doesn't matter to me in truth as this is a comic book show, license to take liberties with the dreaded "realism" is fine IMO.
