It's drawn by the incredible Annie Wu who couldn't be with us today. This is rock and roll, kung fu road trip. It's her on the road, singing songs as her day job just like Clark Kent goes to the Daily Planet... Issue #2 comes out next week." Fletcher said that issue #2 will feature Dinah showing her human band mates the super hero ropes. "The first few issues will focus on what this band is and how they can stay together," said Fletcher. "In issues #4 and #5, someone new will take the stage and maybe this will be the next new villain for Black Canary."

I love how Laurel gets a little more blonde as each season goes by. By next season, she should be a full blonde and may not even need a wig at all, or even one right now.

I'm watching season 1 right now and she's completely unrecognizable.

I liked Katie being cast in the part back when the show first started, but I never thought we'd really see her suit up at any point. So kudos to her for really sticking with it, despite all of the fan hate from season 2. She really did a good job at turning the character around and I always look forward to seeing her scenes.

She brought the saying "Patience is a virtue" to a whole new level during those first 2 years.

Yeah, even though Laurel went through some difficult periods, and ended up enduring some fan hate because of it, I still wanted her character to succeed. So I'm thrilled that Katie and the writers have turned the character around so much.

Even though Season 3 wasn't as strong a season as I would have liked, one of the good things that came out of it was Laurel's growth as a heroic and sympathetic character. I'm sure happy that happened, and I'm looking forward to seeing what she'll do in Season 4.

I have never had any problem with her. She has been one of my very favourite characters on the show since season 1.

and man did she and the few that liked her back then needed some patience lol but it finally paid off. Hope in this new season she is much better at hand fight and has some really good stunt work as a capable fighter.
