And I imagine Katie Cassidy could still appear as Black Siren as well if The Flash uses that character again.

I'm only one episode into the second season of Vixen, so not sure how her appearance there has done yet.

I would prefer it if it was Laurel, and not Black Siren that were brought back. Continuing Laurels journey would be better IMO.

It was useless. It was like maybe 30 total seconds for all of her appearances on Vixen.

How so, if I may ask? I wish she was given more importance on Arrow and worked her way up to be one of Olivers equal on the team, like Diggle and Felicity, and Sara in season 2. Sadly, she never broke past the Roy or Thea level of importance on the team, which is a shame IMO. I agree that it would have been nice to see her be more playful. I, personally, found that Cisco scene to be cringe-inducing though.

I wouldn't want her being more playful to be done like that, but in a different way. I think that is what Black Canary fans want though, for other people to be in awe of her like Cisco was, as well as for her to be constantly calling out Oliver and for him to be saying stuff like he isn't good enough for her. I am glad they did not do that, as it would get tiring, although sadly they have that happen with Felicity instead.

I wanted her to be more sarcastic playful.

Was one of my fave Laurel scenes. I didn't need others to be in awe of her (at least not this early in the game). I wanted her keep Oliver on the straight and narrow, even if they didn't date again, her being his closest confidant/bff would've been just as good.

Based on the preview for tomorrow's episode, it seems like fans of the Oliver and Laurel relationship are in for one crazy emotional roller-coaster

I think her appearance will go over well tomorrow with most people. It is funny/sad, but dying seems to have made people appreciate her much more and realize what she contributed to the show. If people showed they cared as much before, she most likely wouldn't be dead. I don't think these writers would have it in them to kill a character that they think a lot of the audience love and would be unhappy about, unless they planned to bring them back like Sara and Malcolm. Like I said before, if her appearances on the shows this year go over well, I think she will be brought back on one of the shows full-time. I hope they do, but I am torn about what show I would want her back on. Arrow, because it is the show I watch the most, or Flash because I think she would get more time and importance on that show.

People weren't given enough to care about. Katie was doing the best she could with a terrible story for the longest time. Finally they made her a viable character, the moral compass for Oliver and the team, and immediately kill her off.

She still wouldve died because the writers interest in her wouldnt have changed and she still wouldve been the only comic character on the show besides Oliver and they had to drive a point home, they do whats they want.

She has got to come back!

I've never been on Twitter, but I'll go on Twitter if I have to!!

Sadly it aint gonna happen. At least not full time. To bad no one was or is interested in spinning her off for a BoP revival.

I, personally, enjoyed her storylines in the early seasons, but I agree that the writers direction for her was not the best way to endear her to people. If there is one thing that is obvious when it comes to fans of these shows, it is that they do not like it when characters complain too much or cause drama, even if they are in the right. The reaction to women doing it is worse than it is to men doing it. Still though, it was two seasons in a row where she was written to be more likeable, but there was still much more talk and love for her once she died than there was when she was around (or at least that is how it seemed to me). If the writers knew the reaction her death would bring, I doubt they would have done it.

With that said, I do not think most of the viewers watch for just one character, be it Laurel, Felicity or whoever. (or at least I hope they do not, because that would be terrible for TV in the future). I think most watch for the storylines and the fights. I think a big part of the reaction last season is due to what the death symbolised, or seemed to symbolise, and that is the show moving from action and comics to romantic drama. From episode 15 to 18 last season, we got a big focus on Felicity with an episode focused on her (episode 17) and the final scene before the break being focused on her breaking up with Oliver. Felicity represented the romantic drama, and Laurel represented the action and comics, and by killing Laurel and focusing on Felicity, it seemed the show was going in a direction that most people did not want it to go, away from the comics and action, and more to the romance.

The writers could have killed off anyone they wanted in season 1, 2 and 3 and the fans would not have reacted the way they did IMO, because they trusted them. Tommy and Moira dying did not anger people. Even the much loved Sara, who was very popular (back then, I think only Oliver, Felciity and Slade were comparable in popularity) did not get as bad a reaction (although a lot were angry). Or at least this is how it seems to me.

Katie was the MVP tonight! I want her back full time!

I think this episode is a good example of them having good chemistry when written to be in love and happy with each other.

I need all these funkos in my life! If only Funko would get themselves together

Katie needs to be in Supergirl full time. I doubt she will return to Arrow full-time, but I can see her in Flash and Legends.

Would be cool if they brought Laurel (Not Black Siren) from another Earth. She could have her canary cry.

Posted this in another thread, but might as well post it here too. Hopefully people will keep tweeting the Arrow writers saying they liked Katie in the episode. If it happens enough, they may bring her back. It would be in their best interests to do so.

If the reaction to her death didnt change their minds, nothing else will. There is a reason why Arrow is now 99% original characters,

I don't think the arrow writers have any intention of bringing her back, they've already made their decision. But who's to say a little barry trickery can't have her end up revived on another show?

She doesnt really have a place on Flash, Supergirl doesnt want to integrate Flarrow characters and LoT is heavily ran by MG, the same guy who said Laurel had no more stories to tell.

I think Flash is the show that would make her the most comic accurate, if they found a way to fit her in on the show.

Well shucks

Guess this was guggenheim's way of trying to fan the flames. Oh well, this was a one time thing for me anyway. I'll definitely watch the arrow episode of next years crossover though, so there's that!

If anything, this episode was sort of a closing of the book/finale of arrow for me in a way.

I think I'm officially back on the ghost ship that is Ollie/Laurel after this ep :(
