Now I just hope they go about her training in the right way. Easy way to bring in more DC characters.

"Hater" :funny: I didn't realize not liking something makes you a hater, but ok. Like I said to Nathan a few weeks back, this was coming and will be here sooner than many might think, I actually expect a time jump in season 3 so Laurel, Roy, Thea and Ollie in Hong Kong will have a lot more training under their belt in order to explain their new roles.

And KC has done fight training, if someone can get stronger is her, she's taller than Lotz, so she can look even better. Lets not forget all the hatred Gal Gadot's casting got, now she looks stronger and with the right suit, she should be fine as Wonder Woman.

Not you obviously, but you know the ones that are. ;)

Seriously, she was so good here.[YT]HzlTUMufs4U[/YT]

Ruby!Katie is still my favorite Katie. This is what made me excited for her casting way back when she was announced.

Looking VERY GOOD. I wonder how recent it is. And I really hope they start styling her hair differently instead of sticking to the curls.

You can tell KC was geeking out. Here's a video of a panel with her at the Calgary Expo 2014, towards the end, she says she put on the mask, excited like a geek, she really loves Black Canary:

She will be great, she's improved a lot in the last few episodes

I wouldn't call myself a hater, but I do think that they should have done a better job in how they had transitioned Laurel's journey in between the time she was still on her downward spiral with Drugs and her time where she was finally getting her groove back and becoming more active with Team Arrow.

It feels like they spent almost 3/4 of the season with Laurel in the gutter, and then took 0.5 of the remaining half with the transition before she got to the final part of the season where she then became an active participant in the main plot.

Honestly, I just don't want to see her rushed into the role. They are going to need to really think hard on how they have her become a "Black Canary" within the near future.

And I really hope (and I don't say this as a shipper) that they keep her romance free for awhile and focus more on her own journey and give her important stuff to do (in a realistic way) for her future arcs so that it feels like she's earned the mantle of BC by the time she really suits up.

Wildcat is all I have to say when it comes to Laurels journey. Bring him in and have him train her over the next couple of seasons. Depending on the plans for Quentin next season I can see wildcat becoming a surrogate father.

I have to agree that they should have handled the beginning of the Black Canary story better with Dinah Laurel. I think they will correct that in the third season. In looking back at the 2nd season, the majority of it was not great for Dinah Laurel until the final few episodes leading to the finale.

With her father in a coma or not, I hope they bring in Ted Grant to train her to become the Black Canary. Also, if they're doing a sequel episode to the Birds of Prey it's likely going to be Dinah Laurel as Black Canary than Sarah and have her team with Helena.

I can't wait to hear what Nathan thinks about all of this though.lol

I sure hope there was no sharp objects by him near the episode's end that's for sure!:woot:
