I never liked this ideaI'm still holding out hope for Jared Leto.
I'm for Cumberbatch, Mortensen, Brody, Hardy would also work

In his defense, he said the cgi was well done in the first movie and that it was over the top in the second and third. Fellowship looks best IMO, i agree with him.He hates CGI movies, so I took him out of the running.
The really cool thing about him is that he's actually from Oklahoma yet his British accent is really good. I do agree that his talents were not used to their full effect or at least he was Marvel's trope bad guy. Thought he could come back if he wanted to if you consider how unrecognizable he was.I think Doctor Strange works better if he's American, but I would like to see Lee Pace reused. I think Ronan was kind of a waste of him as an actor, and he was completely unrecognizable in the makeup, so I think they could get away with it.

I'm counting the minutes until we get our own Dr. Strange section. So far I've counted way too many

Some of you guys are way too picky. You have two great actors (allegedly) up for strange and some of guys are outraged at that.
Jack Huston can play the role of Dr. Strange.

Shouldn't Strange be officially cast in like, 2-3 months (like Ant-Man last year)?
I don't understand Benedict Cumberbatch either. The only thing I saw him do was play a piss-poor version of Khan so far. There are lots of skinny villains he looks like he could play, but his voice is too deep for most of them. He's definitely no Doctor Strange.
But I don't really get the love for Phoenix either. For one, he doesn't look the part. Two, isn't the guy a loose cannon? He seems like the type who might do one appearance as Strange and then back out of more. Hell, I thought casting Edward Norton for Banner was idiotic in that he would probably say he was tired of the role after one movie anyway. And don't give me some mumbo jumbo about contractual obligations. At the end of the day, if you don't want to do a sequel, you're not going to do it.
