Pierce Brosnan is still my choice for Strange. May not be on anyone's radar and most will hate on it, but I think it would be a shrewd bit of casting.

That's a suggestion I haven't heard before, but I your thinking. He could pull it off. (I doubt he's on Marvel's list though: too old).

Jack Huston is rumoured to be in the running for Doctor Strange. If the rumour is true then Marvel are still probably high on him from when he was auditioning for Star Lord.

Well until Variety and THR confirm that he's either in talks or on the short list, it's still a rumor.

I like John Hamm but I don't really see him as a good fit for this. Honestly, he's one of those actors like Aaron Paul who I really like but I don't think fit superhero characters.

Jack Huston I could see however. While he does sort of look like a Project Cadmus clone of Johnny Depp, he's a good actor. And if not him, there are other Depp clones Marvel could pursue (Skeet Ulrich, Shiloh Fernandez).
